A follow-up on this….. I’m now in a hotel in Gloucester with the better half and we are off on a trip to Europe soon after.

When we get back, the surgeons are going to perform the operation to make my pe**s. Got the letter today confirming the date and time, it’s July 1st, not long after we get back. I’ve been on hormone therapy to enlarge my colitis, so it enlarges (which is has) and then it will be turned into my p*nis.

Definetly getting a much more masculine voice now after the therapy and vocal cord operations, it’s not long to go and my journey is complete.

I bought the wife a car last Sunday ,but couldnt pick it up till the Tuesday because of the bank holiday. Anyway she's been talking for a while now about trading her old one in and getting a Nissan Juke. So I removed the ring doorbell ,because that would have clearly give it away picked the car up that morning and parked it directly outside across the drive so she couldnt get her old car out. I know she planned to go shopping with my daughter that day ,so when she came downstairs she said someones parked their car in front of the drive and she cant get hers out.

I said "you will have to tell our Alix to use her car and pick you up" , "I cant she said we're going to look at cars and I want to see how much they will give me for mine" so then I grabbed the key for the new car and said "B@stards aren't they Girl ,I tell you what you go and move it" and passed her the key. It took her practically a full minute for it to sink home

Funny story ,when I took it for a test drive ,the sales assistant pointed out where he lived and declared he can practically walk into work every morning as it's on his doorstep. I laughed and said "Schoolboy error that lad ,telling me where you live"

The poor b@stard nearly choked he was stuttering that much

Going the title parade on the 26th with my brother and his daughter and myself and our Alix ,got a meal booked at a swanky restaurant for later in the day. So it's going to be a Dad and Daughters day ,which is brilliant for me as the last time I took her to watch a Liverpool parade was 2005.

My Daughter was more of a football fan than my lad when she was young and absolutely crazy about Liverpool but sadly she grew out of it and got more girly as time went on.

    F*ck you L’Oréal and Westlife.

I know ,I was really nervous asking her and the wife just said pick the phone up and ask her. I can take anything life throws at me ,but for some reason the prospect of her saying no would have wounded me. I'm thoroughly looking forward to it now and a chance to revisit old memories like when I had a football mad daughter.

    Be a day to remember.

2005 remember like it was yesterday.

Hugging strangers and pints being thrown in the air. We didn't care getting soaked in beer.

It's Liverpool - Be honest, you mean you're not slumming it at McDonalds, you're going to Archies instead, right? :D

I've a table booked for four people at Gaucho's in Water St ,which you probably wont have heard of because it's not in Reading or indeed a front for child trafficking and selling young kids to sexual deviants with the f*cking pasta.

Why would I not know somewhere outside of Reading? I'm not from Reading and I have spent plenty of time in Liverpool, one of my favourite places to visit! I have been in Groucho, but chose not to eat there. Seemed nice though. I hope you have a good time there

I think he meant Groucho's, it's next door to Marx & Spencers.

My train turned up on time so I get to have a pint on my own before my mate turns up.
