You certainly have the best chance out of the 3 promoted sides and let's face it, Cooper has previous in somehow grinding out enough results to keep a side up in this division which gives you that edge over the other 2. You've got a great chance to turn it into 3 wins in a row next week as well, considering we have somehow managed to end up with a Monday and then Friday match, and any run of 3 in a row in this league is a great run for clubs at the bottom

hopefully today has taught him a few lessons and certain people will return to the side, I quite like the bloke, there is a lot of spirit in this side which could be easily lost when a manager they loved walked out the door, for all the talk of us not attacking enough amongst the fans we've scored the most goals outside of the top 7 or something like that and have scored in every game.

We were truly awful today and 0-2 flattered us immensely. First really worrying moment of the season for me and it was telling when the changes were made and we had 9 former League One players on the pitch we actually showed some fight although Everton had the game won by then.

Not really sure what we can do because our preferred formation of 4-2-3-1 isn't working. Maybe ditch the 10. 3 in the middle and Omari on the right.

Going to be a long winter based on what we saw today.

Leicester might make a fight of it but us and Ipswich are 100% down.

Tbf, anything above rock bottom and you will be doing better than most predicted.

Coming up to the PL from League 1 with successive promotions makes it a miracle to stay up.

It really does look like 3 very obvious candidates now and one club who ought to start getting on with it shortly.

That is of course until everton get another points deduction to try make it look interesting.

Yeah we’ve had it on the evidence of today. Everton were extremely average but we fell apart. Need to improve dramatically or it’s going to be an extremely tedious 7 months.

I reckon that will be us before Everton. I'm sure the PL are currently digging deep for reasons to do it - our kit is the wrong shade of red, they've found traces of cocaine in our pitch marking or because of Robin Hood stealing from the rich to give to the poor

    The table never lies.

Southampton and wolves are rock bottom and we played wolves and they look so short of confidence. Ipswich can't stop throwing goals in.

Palace need to wake up and get on with it now. The players also looked so short of confidence when we met but that side shouldn't be down there. There's too much talent to be concerned

I was wondering who the three were and the one that pulls out. So Palace are going to get out of it.
People said our relegated side had too much talent to go down. Although in their favour Glasner isn't trying for the sack.

The table can absolutely lie this early in the season. We're currently in 5th - that should be all the evidence needed haha

Don't understand those saying Ipswich are done.

Yesterday aside they've done well and will cause most teams problems.

I watched their game and while it was their worst of the season they're nowhere near as bad as some promoted teams who've gone on to stay up.

If they can keep the team spirit that got them here (and McKenna) they'll finish outside the bottom three IMO.

100%, it’ll be difficult for them but can see them doing it. Certainly not writing them off yet.

Southampton need to change their manager soon but no team is properly cut adrift yet.

I generally go by sides who don't look like they can defend

    That's it.

Luton has superb spirit and fight but they couldn't defend either.

Ipswich have scored goals though and that is where they should be keeping spirits up. Tighten up at the back and retain a goal threat.

Trying to integrate new players at the back hasn’t helped either; first it was a new centre half and keeper, then another new centre half was added, now a full-back on top of that. It’s not easy under intense pressure in this division. Yesterday we also suffered with Morsy trying not to get booked as he’s one off a suspension. He’s had spells of doing this the last couple of seasons, I understand why he wants to be on the pitch as he’s so important as captain and leader, but it takes away a lot from his game and weakens us defensively. In the past Luongo could cover for him and get away with it but in this league we need two central midfielders at the top of their game to get anywhere and it was noticeable against Everton, Phillips can’t carry it on his own. Rather than stringing it out I think he needs to take the ban and then get back to normal. Slight issue is that Cajuste has got a small knock currently but when he’s back then we’ll be covered.

Absolutely, very very difficult. Just have tonkeep fighting but at some point teams will win 4 or 5 in a little spell and just jump out of the bottom and others just can't do that.

Literally everything that people said about Luton last season and they went down 6 points shy of safety, even with 2 clubs having been hit with hefty points deductions

Ipswich look way better than Luton who were basically the 21st century Wimbledon.
