TBF things have not really been good since the LC semi final last season. It's clear to see that the Pulis defensive steel wall attitude needs to resurface. The team needs
to grind out a few boring clean sheets to gain confidence.

We won't be relegated and it's not unusual for our fans to fight each other. We have more than our fair share of c***s that regularly attend our games

Shall we just confirm Sunderland as one of the relegated teams now? Gutless performance tonight.

Still think Sunderland will be fine.

Once they settle on a team then Moyes will get them well drilled.

Standard start to the season from Sunderland then. When do we wait for the manager to be sacked and the bounce back to start, Jan or Feb? Although there's no derby with Newcastle for them to judge it by this season.

Yeah people say the same about Sunderland every year. They are always looking hopeless until about February/March time every season and then they always manage to find their way out towards the end. Moyes is a better manager than some of the others that have kept them up as well.

Being a Sunderland supporter must be abysmal

Sunderland have got a knack for getting out of trouble. They look terrible at the moment but i'd still expect them to get out of trouble come the end of the season.

meh, we've barely been out of the bottom three for the last five seasons now, just managed to be out of it at the right time. it's pretty dispiriting as our form at the end of last season looked like it might not be the flash in the pan we get at the end of every season but all momentum was taken with the drawn out process of losing allardyce. another long season awaits

Yeah but look what happened to Wigan and Villa. You keep flirting with relegation every season, eventually you go down. Same with Coventry and Southampton.

Pulis has said we face a few tough months till January.

Takeover has been passed by the fa etc and will be announced end of week. Think if we lose Saturday the chinks might get rid of him

Everyone saying that Sunderland have a nack for getting out of it. Well that was us a decade a go. Always had Le tiss to pull is out of the shit. Stayed up on goal difference once.

It all catches up eventually. Their squad is old and average. This year will be their biggest test yet imo.

It's not old like. Defoe is probably the only starter over 30.
