Salford Away. We're top of the league and on a 5 match winning streak (all comps). We're leaving players out of the match day 18 who would get into the vast majority of league 2 sides. We've scored 3 goals in each of the last 4 competitive games and in Aaron Drinan have the league's top scorer (who'd have ever thought that). Having said that I'd take a point against Salford, however, should we make it 6 wins then I will really start to believe.

Cheltenham away. Just posted in another thread how positive i am. How it wont take much for us to really click from where we are. I can see someone getting a good walloping from us soon and no reason it can't be Cheltenham.

Problem is every time I go into a game confident like this we invariably get beat. Always happens. Cheltenham are the first team we have played this season who really seem to be struggling. 6 of our previous 8 opponents sit top half so on paper this is the by far the weakest opposition we have faced so far, but that usually means a loss.

Injuries seem to.be returning and quigley is back from suspension. However I dont see how he drops fondop after him scoring the winner yesterday. Mellon will start so its just a question over who starts with him. Other than that it's a settled 11

Long old trip to Barnet on Saturday. No idea how many tickets we have sold as they must be bought through Barnets ticketing system?

Barnet getting to grips with the league and having more players back fit suggests a tough game. Plenty of goals is my prediction

Oldham at home and I'm almost past the point of caring until Johnson et al are gone, and sadly I include Flynn in that

Away at the pies. This will tell us if we have a season of struggle or not.

Can't make the game due to family commitments which is annoying.

Arr do 2 more blocks open up if you sell the first 3 then ? A few of my mates want to go and pay on gate but those 3 blocks are getting full already so if it's only them i would tell them to get a ticket like .

Yeah you’ll get the full lot if you want it. Club is sometimes slow to open up a new block (they’ll wait until only a few tickets left) but you will definitley get more. Always enjoy playing you lot as the followings are always great. Could be 50/50 with home fans!

Noticed Crewe have lost their early season spark, they couldn't ask for a better game to get going again. We're easy beats at the moment, get the first goal and it's plain sailing. We'll be missing Canavan again for a few weeks. He's not the quickest defender but things usually look somewhat organised when he plays.

Hopefully we can get some minutes into MJ Williams and Isaac Fletcher midweek in the trophy, they should improve us. The former came off the bench for his first action of the season yesterday, whilst the latter had an injury setback after missing some of pre season and has only managed a three stints off the bench so far.

Newport away. We've played six times against "new" Newport, lost the lot and never laid a glove on them in any of those fixtures. Consequently, we absolutely owe them one and under Ainsworth this may finally be the team to do it. Sold out the first batch of 400 tickets in the side stand, got another 494 hopefully available from tomorrow for an army from Kent.

Surprised by your upturn in form since we beat you. You looked poor and quite lightweight, felt we bullied you the more the game went on. Must have been a bad day at the office.

    Accrington Stanley at home.

Expecting a comfortable home win to get us back on track, even with all the injuries we have.

Indeed it was a terrible day. It was the sort of game in which you say we've been relatively poor today so lets just take the point and move on. Unfortunately we missed out on the former and have subsequently taken the latter in spades.

At the time we played you we had lost 3 out of 3 league games and the EFL Cup match

Yes but early season it counts for nothing really. We got a lot tougher game that night than your record suggested we would. You've got your act together since then and I think that was pretty predictable going off the performance

Used to be an easy away day for me when I lived in SE London - but even then I didn’t look forward to it. I won’t be travelling for this one. A true bogey side.
