As we all know, Tony Blair is George Bush's little messenger, which makes me sick. And Bush he's just a dumb little boy who needs to rig elections to win them.

Yes, thank you mate....let's get back to the subject of the thread because judging from all our comments (my own included) it seems that September 11 has achieved nothing but more suspicion and resentment in us all. And there was me thinking this time last year that the world would be a safer place by now..... if it wasn't for the abovementioned organ grinder and his monkey maybe it might be....

:eyemouth: It's my belief that most of the people in Ireland are descendents of the collectors, gatherers and farmers who lived in England prior to the Roman invasion. Many, many of them fled to Ireland as the Romans pushed further north and west.
So therefore JoaoPinto you're technically correct and I also don't think the British could have done much about the potato famine anyway.

Are there any other countries in the world that try to influence their foreign policy to effect another countries domestic situations?

Bit like the French and German governments funding the Pro-Euro campaignb in the UK.

I personally, have no problem with the Yanks. They bailed us out in WW1 and WW2, otherwise we'd be speaking German on this site now.

I don't mind having the choice to say what I want, do what I want and best of all, if I want to spank the bald headed monkey, whilst watching the fantasy channel, after consuming a giant Ruby and half a dozens cans of largeee, after seeing pompey Stuff Leicester of Sky Sports, etc, rather than being told what to wear, what to think, where to prey, how to act, who to hate, who to love or whatever!!!!

    Are you British Racoon?

 I must have missed that section in history when I was at school. Bailed us out? The only thing the Yanks did was bang our women and steal them off the 'real soldiers' who were fighting in Europe.

don't get me wrong, I believe what us Brits did against the Nasties was outstanding and nothing less than our patriotic duty. But, the Battle of Britain, El Alamein and other notable triumphant British battles were mainly due to our extended use of American made weaponery and machinery.

Why really knows what would have happened to dear old Blighty had the Krauts decided to go ahead with operation Sea Lion - I know one thing, the Irish would have played a major part in that. It's common knowledge that they were more than helpful in supplying German intelligence with strategic infomation, not to mention their offer of using Irish soil to be aprt of the eventual invasion of the UK.

Bl00dy dirty, sneaky, distrustful, angry, smelly, thick-as-fcuk, Irish!!!
