He's already shown that he's a top 6 striker in my opinion. Fitness permitting, he'll guarantee 15 league goals a season.

I understand Chelsea's reluctance to use him but he's showing a lot more at 21 and developing a lot quicker than the likes of Giroud, Drogba, Negredo, Dezko...players similar to him.

Just something about him that doesn't fit with the special 1 so pointless keeping him. might as well cash in now while the going is good.

looks a tidy enough player from his spells with West Brom and Everton

His loss. If he would rather sit on the bench all season, than play every week, then i don't want him.

He's really got in your head.

It is but we move on. Would've got plenty of time here considering we only have two wingers capable of staying fit.

First Luiz, now Lukaku. I'm done with this game.

Perhaps he wants to play football every week rather than Pulisball. Can't really blame him.

Luiz is a terrible defender. You did great business there and Lukaku Jose clearly doesn't rate. So hardly a reason to be done with the game is it!

The ultimate example of passion over ability. Belting out the national anthem and going ape-shit when your team scores is no substitute for actually knowing what you're doing.

We had an average of 60 long balls per game.

Swansea - known for their passing - 64 long balls per game
Southampton - 70 long balls per game
    Chelsea - 62
    Man Utd - 62

The list goes on. Stoke were a long ball team because of the type of team that he had at the club. We have fast wingers and play counter attacking football.

Besic, McCarthy, Gibson, Barkley and Barry will be enough to cover centre mid. Barry and McCarthy played every game they could last season.

Jagielka, Stones, Distin, Alcaraz and Duffy and Besic can play at CB.

Martinez wants to bring in 3 forwards (2 more) and don't forget he'll use up 3 or 4 loans.

Quite disappointed about Lukaku going, Yes he was clumsy, couldn't pass to save his life and wasn't clinical but he was homegrown and very young with a good scoring record. We have to sign a new striker now, as good as Torres and Drogba are, they aren't adequate for backup striker when Costa is out. Cavani as a backup striker would work good against the minnow teams. Wouldn't be that expensive but we have too many foreign players right now.

Anyone have idea of how much he's going for? Heard it was around 23M? If that's the case I think that's too low.
