What’s all this chatter about Parker then?! He’d get Palace up at the first attempt next season!

Seems like Hodgey's days are numbered. Maybe one.

Having read his CV and watched his Frankfurt team win the Europa League less than two years ago I'd be very happy with this. They played some great stuff and he's done well wherever he's managed.

Probably a risk at this stage of the season but it's not exactly party time under Roy so I'm all for giving it a go. At least it'd be more interesting.

Would like it to be honest. Something different instead of the usual boring suspects.

Little bit gutted that it wasn't Mckenna but I'm not complaining. Would have preferred a packet of crisps in charge than Roy at this point

All this leaking out while he's going to fulfill those obligations is a bit off.

Wouldn't surprise me if Roy agreed to keep steering the ship until we finally got around to appointing someone. He's always said he only came back as a favour. At least it gives him time to say his goodbyes and leave with some dignity rather than being abused and binned after another loss. It's clear SP really didn't want to do that.

    Glasner now 1/10.

On paper it looks like a very good appointment :hopefully His Frankfurt team was brilliant :)

He needs time to say goodbyes and leave with dignity?

Feels like that ship has surely passed. The time to do that was back in May.

Unfortunately we were far too disorganised to make that happen in May so he was left with no idea whether he was staying or going.

At least now he'll have some clarity and can leave with everyone's best wishes. Not ideal obviously but better than leaving to a chorus of boos and abuse. Despite the loss on Monday he got some credit for his team selection and the overall performance and was clapped off the pitch. It's a good time to leave.

Did a great job with Frankfurt on the face of it. German reporter was on talksport earlier saying he can be a bit of a spiky character and fell out with the board

Might be worth getting an insight from our resident German @Dirk

He'll probably keep us up playing brilliant football then have a huff about our lack of money and leave in the summer then.

At least Roy should be available.

That would explain why Parish isn’t the one that wants to appoint him then.

Took our f%cking time didn't we?

Roy's press conference at 1.30pm should be fun.
