I was really looking forward to it, heard it was a fiesty derby. How dissapointing, little passion on the pitch even less off it. Football cultture is as dead as the dodo... in england.

Will Still was a name on our shortlist when we were looking for a manager.

He might come good, it's early days but needless to say I'm happy we went with our current manager.

no doubt squeezed in early to dodge clashing with the theoretical rival events of T20i England on C5 and the Liverpool-Bumley game, except one didn't happen and seems this game didn't either!

"Southampton held to goalless draw by Portsmouth" the bbc headline, could equally read "Portsmouth held to goalless draw by Southampton"....... with stats putting more shots by pompey, both sides just the one on target and one keeper save apiece, perhaps many would say "Southampton Portsmouth a goalless draw, first since 1924"

Nah the Sunday midday KO is a police thing to try and reduce alcohol intake. The return in January is already scheduled as a Sunday 12pm.

This was brought up on our forum when they became our shirt sponsor. But, P&O Ferries and P&O Cruises are two separate companies. Cruises is UK based (Southampton), Ferries is Dubai owned.

Unless the University of Portsmouth have sacked all their staff.

Strong rumours going round these lot are still playing each other and the keepers have gone home. Score is still 0--0.

    What a bore fest.

Good to see the Pompey fans giving that bald danger a load of stick today. Utter oddball.

Utterly ruined by appointing a ref that blew up for the slightest contact. The game had no chance to ever become a feisty affair after he gave three or four soft fouls in the first few minutes, the players just stopped going in with any proper physicality.

Not much love lost between the two managers but Portsmouth’s does seem to rile a lot up of opposition managers up.

Still bitterly disappointed at yesterday. To barely create a chance at home to your biggest rivals is pathetic really.

I really hate what we've down to the ground with moving the away fans. No point having an 'end' to lead the rest if it can't be heard down the other end.

I'm glad I'm out of that end though and much prefer where I am now. Was pretty decent there first half at least but tailed off somewhat as the 0-0 became inevitable.

Skates support was made up of the usual small time inbreds that they are, gobbiest ones were about 11

Wildly celebrating a goalless draw as if they'd won promotion sums that football club up.

It was the worst skate away end i think i've ever seen, so many replica shirts and very few lads, also the collective age looked about 13.

Almost no needle from them and they seemed properly meek and wilted really quickly. Also what they did sing was pretty much the league two song book.

The game was pretty shit in all honesty, the only positive is we didn't lose. Was telling that the blue few clearly know how far below us they are given how they celebrated a point like they'd won the league

Pretty shit is an understatement really, game was absolutely dreadful. Don't think any team ever really looked like scoring.

Glad it's out the way now, need to try and get a bit of momentum going starting with Hull.

How old are you? Its been 13 years since we last played you. You haven't got a clue what our sway support is like. How much did you spend on that lot? 50million.. A joke. You were no better than us.
When you come to FP you'll see what real support is.We dont need silly fire works and lights to make an atmosphere. All 4 sides get behind the team not just one end.. Truth is you're soft cnuts probably ruined by the Prem. Bring back the old days.
Yes your silly fatty, what a cnut that is, even beats our JW.
08:30 at FP, travel on escorted coaches proof of id . no drink What a shit day. Went to WBA last game a proper ground with decent noise. Your lot are miles behind.

I’ve been to your dump many, many times, the last time I went you piped crowd noise into the back of the away end

That away support was hands down the worst I’ve seen from your lot, 96 the only other game that pushed it close, though at least in 96 you had the excuse that it wasn’t even a competition on the pitch, and the myth of the “Pompey passsshooon” hadn’t be constructed yet.

One of my main takeaways is you’re basically a lower league club now, singing the same indentkit song book as every other small team and celebrating a draw like you’d won the league.

Your home atmosphere is genuinely a myth. I’m not being 1 bit biased either. You’ve spent a few years booing your team until recently and that’s from a fan base that claimed they never boo their own. Your home crowd absolutely pales in comparison to a lot of clubs. Not saying ours is good either but at least we don’t play crowd noise on the tannoy. Your lot chat so much shit it’s genuinely baffling

The last time we played at the most intimidating ground ever, Fratton Park, was good to be fair. What was the score again?

Small time. How you've fallen. A 0-0 against us is now "special"?
