Wakeling played well yesterday, two good finishes and was the difference in a game with little chances. Was sometimes guilty of not releasing the ball but so far I’ve been impressed.

Started going downhill after losing to Oxford in the play offs 16 months ago & of that 18 squad team that day only transfer listed Archie Collins & academy graduate James Dornelly are left every other have left on frees or been sold .

Last season our gobshite Chairman was banging on about have the youngest squad of all 92 clubs which nearly backfired being in a relegation battle & this season , fair play to him he's splashed the cash but we have 31 or 32 squad play not 24/25 you need including 5 loan players throw in Fergie playing different systems every other week is why we're in the sh*te atm but , football like music , fashion , politics etc goes round in cycles & we've had a good 20 years of over achieving so if we went full circle back to League 2 wouldn't surprise me .

He had a good six week spell during December 23/January 24. He’s been injured for much of the time since and nowhere near the races. Our fans are quite split, the kids love singing a song about him being the show, others less kind.

Would be nice to here we are looking for a loan midfielder for Noor's absence after a horrible injury yesterday.

And yet is the joint 4th top goalscorer in the division and has the same number of goals as Alex Reid, in less games, for a side tipped to struggle!

We're seeing an increasing number of scouts at our home games this season, not just to watch Adarkwa.

Ryan De-Havilland is available , too good for NL imo but definitely good enough for League 2 .
 " sold to fat b*stard in the blue blazer "

We're aiming to go back to back relegations like you guys & we can have some Boston beef ;)

Signing for York as expected. Potentially a good signing for them if he gets his form back.

    We need deeper midfielders.

Yeah journo Alan Nixon (90% of the time he’s right) reports that you’ve signed him.

I think he's more likely to sign for carlisle, if he hasn't already and awaiting it to be announced

No he’s not. We already have Wearne and Embleton in that 10 position. We need deeper midfielders - our manager has said this.

People were putting 2 and 2 together cos he was at our match last week, but really he’s mates with Linney so probably just came to watch his mate.

    He’s joining York. Its done.

Whelan and Jones can potentially play the 10 too. Mind, York have plenty of options there too.

I don't think he's the type of midfielder we'd need.

More of a holding midfielder that could bring the ball out of defence.

Chris Conn-Clarke rumours heating up again. Now it's three of the biggest NL clubs who are after him according to Peterborough's owner. I think he means biggest as in budgets so other than York and Carlisle it must be Forest Green after him as well now because Southend don't have a pot to piss in.

The thing is though they want something like 400k for him which is exactly what they paid originally and are probably trying to squeeze out more from whoever wants him.

Really can't see £400 grand for anyone at this level. We were told stones was way beyond what we were prepared to pay and it was unsustainable at this level, yet York are adamant the fee they paid is nowhere near the reported £350 grand.

Disregarding the players and concentrating on the fees, that would mean whatever York did pay - presumably much less than 350, is unsustainable, so £400 grand is surely pie in the sky

Your daft as a brush if you pay £400k for him like, fantastic player mind but that is silly stupid money.

We was getting him on a season loan with fee agreed at end of season before they pulled out due to manager not wanting him and Greg Olley back in full training.
That’s was from someone at club high up and have no reason to not believe it.
