I've had 3 Amazon deliveries in the last 24 hours, all 3 have banged on my front door with their fists rather than ring my (Amazon Ring) doorbell, even though the (Amazon Ring) doorbell is permanently lit up with a bright white light 24/7.
Ring doorbells are shit, gave mine to my parents a few months back when they bumped the annual subscription up by nearly 50% and went for a Eufy instead. Faster, higher resolution, better features, longer battery life and everything held locally so no con of an annual subscription for features which should be included. And the irony? I bought it on a deal from Amazon.
As I posted elsewhere on FF I cancelled my sub and re-signed up on the eve of the price increase, so I'll review it next year when it's due again. Battery life isn't an issue as mine's hard-wired, hence the permanent white light on it.
Me to Gareth - so dinner, what do you fancy? Alexa - I’d have to say R2D2 you never forget your first love WHADAFUQ????
It may have already been mentioned but whom ever idea it was to strap the cap to plastic bottles should be garrotted.
I didn't like it at first but, to be honest, I have no issue with it at all now. Especially on bigger bottles that you don't drink from. I used to always drop the lid and spend ages looking for it - now it's always there. Also, it really isn't difficult to pull it off completely.
Adults from this side of the pond using the term "woke" unironically. Get a grip of yourself and stop this Americanisation nonsense.
James Cleverly. Something about the smug prick annoys the f**k out of me. Hopefully next week is a record election pummelling and it's the last we see of him.
Following on from this, the fact I'm inundated with emails and phone calls at work thanks to making the mistake of listing myself as an IT Manager three months back when I started my new role. LinkedIn is shit and unless you're out of work when it becomes a necessary evil, it's to be avoided. I've e hibernated my account.
Having to ring around an entire company because the bloke who listed himself as IT Manager at the company can't figure out how to work LinkedIn.
