    It was Odeon in town.

They do a fiver a ticket but I think that is for mid week when it is quieter.

Must be a Wales thing. No chance of getting any tickets for a fiver at any point at the local Odeon here. I've just checked and even early afternoon during the week, the cheapest price to go and watch Gladiator 2 is £16, and that's for basic seating. Go for premier and it's over £20.

I'm lucky and live near a cinema that does £6 tickets (used to be £5) and also I really enjoy going to the cinema and think ultimately the experience of watching a film on a big screen vs. in your living room is noticeable for me.

I also think it is important to watch something and not have the option to pause it and do what you want. It's an art form and you should give it attention.

It didn't happen recently but a few months back a guy sitting just behind me in the cinema opened up a huge bag of crisps just as the film was starting. After a few minutes I asked him if he wouldn't mind if I started playing my tambourine (I didn't have one so don't ask) to which a couple laughed at which eventually sunk in to his thick skull and the crisps were put away.

Bloody hell, just checked to see for myself ( wasn't implying you were exaggerating at all )

Swear on my little lad's life that tickets are 7 notes.

Was a quid booking fee in that. Why don't they just say tickets are 7 quid and do away with this booking fee bollocks.

I bet the expensive ones are facing away from the screen.

On the contrary, there is quite a lot wrong with Ed Sheeran.

Getting a handwritten letter from a woman totally unbeknown to me saying she can get me into heaven. :fail:

I’m beginning to suspect the grim reaper is stalking me again but giving me hints this time. It’s sort of becoming a Christmas tradition, I’ll probably wake up Christmas morning to find Death at the end of my bed dressed as Santa and with a bit of holly on his scythe.:laugh::laugh:

    Ho Ho Ho.*
