I can only assume the OP thinks these are good signings because he's heard of these ' names ' ?? Hangeland is available as a free agent after having his contract terminated, he would have been a much better signing than Senderous. Matt Etherington on a free would have been a better signing than Joe Cole and his big wages. I get that Villa have a young team and need experienced players, but are they really THAT desperate?

There's no debate about it, The players your team have signed are obviously shit. You'd have to be an idiot to call them "excellent" signings.
Most are but you get some weirdos who think they are more knowledgeable than they are. Especially the kopites
