Worst Palace 'keeper ever? He has to be up there. We've got a poll on our forum asking who should be in goal at Stoke on Saturday. Around 400 people have voted and so far Hennessey's received a colossal 4% of the vote. IMO Julian Speroni never should've been dropped in the first place, especially not for a 'keeper who was bench-dwelling at a League One side at the time.
Been injured for what seems like forever. He's back in training so I assume he'll make an appearance soon enough. We still shipped goals with him in the team but he's so superior to Hennessey it's embarrassing. You can tell the defence have so much more confidence in the other two 'keepers. How he's kept his place for so long is beyond me. I honestly think it's just because he's tall.
No mate. Stupidly spending my money on WBA away instead. Our record may be better in Stoke but the pubs are better in Birmingham
I reckon I've a better diving reaction time. Might aswell put on the titanic music as he's diving it take that long for him to go down.
I know it can be said for a lot of our players in the last month but I do not know how this Goalkeeper can have the cheek to collect his wage on a weekly basis when he has been nothing short of abysmal for well over a year now. I was delighted to see Wales do so well as I thought it would be our opportunity to cash in and get rid. His confidence is shot to pieces when he puts on a Palace kit and I don't think that would change even in a lower divison. He looks like the quality of a Championship Goalkeeper near the relegation places. He needs to go for his sake and everybody else's.
