It's f*cking hammering down with rain in East Angular , a taxi to work rather than the 3.5 mile pushbike ride , hate being soaked going to work & not a fan of waterproofs which make you sweat so with taxi back tonight I'm looking at 1.5 hours work just to pay for getting there & back , grim ...
After years of pressure from family in Perth we're finally going to hit the credit card and go over in July/August 2021, can't wait. We know people in Gold Coast and Bundaberg, so I think it's going to be a 3 weeker, fly to Sydney, see friends doing Sydney and Melbourne too, then over to Perth for a week then back home. Works out quite well next summer with no holiday as there's The Euros, Tour De France & the Olympics to keep me occupied.
Woke up today freezing, found out the heater in my apartment wasn't working and it was 14F (-10C) degrees outside Minnesota winter has arrived.
Hammering down here atm and has been all day. Thankfully stopping early a.m. but more due Saturday. I'll be raging if our 2019 hat trick of victories over the sheep is called off.
I’ll be raging too as I’ll have to spend another period of time prior to the game hearing about the match constantly
If there was work down there for me I would seriously contemplate moving down there myself. Don’t blame you about the coastline. Hamelin Bay (where stingrays come right into the beach to be hand fed), Meelup Bay, Bunker Bay, Eagle Bay are all beautiful (as you probably know).
-4 here overnight. Had to put the bins out and the lid was frozen shut! Thankfully its just today then it shouldn't be so bad going into next week, but its not even winter yet! Think we are in for a bad one this year.
With you being Scouse the word “Bins” and “Lid” stood out a mile there. Did you do that on purpose? As for the weather, yes I think we will have a bad winner, and I hope we do. I love the four seasons me, and want it to be cold when it’s meant to be cold.
