Got ourselves ahead without being especially convincing, and Halifax now well back in it, forced sub seemed to help them, it was the new lad who scored.
Getting PTSD flashbacks from the last few seasons here. Get the next goal and with a strong bench we should win this though. Brackley don't look a good side (decent FK aside).
4-1 up now so I’d say so. solihull obviously finding things a lot more difficult than their stroll around Brunton the other night. It kind of highlights how terrible we are.
Been much more of a ding-dong scrap than our recent outings, delighted to have nicked that, Halifax on top for decent stretches.
2-0 win over Salisbury [who haven't scored a goal yet], could afford to miss a late pen too up to 2nd big test at Torquay monday
Way too early to go all in on this but we have the makings of an extremely tough side to beat with enough goal threat to put games to bed and cruise the rest of it. Southend on Monday is going to be very interesting
Truly pathetic from Woking today. Our owner spent time with us in the second half asking what we thought was wrong My answer 'the players are ****s Back in the Walt Jackson now'
Can only beat what’s in front of you, but they were awful them Woking, a real stink the house down team. We just don’t look like conceding, McNally/Kouogun/John are everything you want in a CB, the three of them have been outstanding, my only fear with this team is having next to nothing on the bench to change a game of needed, I hope we’re still looking because we need another live wire attacking mid and without question a pacy striker. Sets us up for what should be a good match at Southend.
Very harsh loss that, draw would have probably been the fair result, but we had the better chances. No way we deserved to lose that though. FGR knew they’d got away with one at full time.
