Can not see any reason why we would not want to play for 2 weeks. It’s just annoying the fan base and feels like season hasn’t really started for us.
Looking by far the better team, but same as the Hartlepool game, we are not capitalising on the chances we are creating to get further in front.
By current affairs are you referring to them changing the manager? Bit of an exaggeration from yourself, or are there other affairs that you’re aware of?
Keeping our place warm, though it was Braintree ended our long unbeaten run last season, so best not get cocky.
Nice to see us get a second this time around and the best move of the match to deliver it. Big positive for Dallas to get his brace and have him up and running. Spasov coming off the bench looked more than useful and he worked the left channel really well. Boyse was more defensive today at times, but showed his quality their too as well as when he did ge the chance to go forward. Once again apart from the goal, which was extremely well taken, Collin had very little shot wise to do, but he did well in the air and commanding his box I felt. The central three were resilient and played well, Gubbins again replacing the injured Ralph and looking more and more assured. Austin and Coker did OK, without any real impact. Kendall, I didn't feel had one of his better games, but had to go off injured. GUS was very poor today, atrocious crossing to say the least. My MoM Husin, cleared up at the back and pushed forward when able to, playing that delightful ball in the channel for Spasov to set Dallas up for the winner. Always good to win away, and Moors had drawn with FGR there, so not an easy place to go, although we are their bogey team. Happy that we have another three points on the board at this early stage and those around us are playing catch up. For us it's a watching brief for the rest of the day, then onto Wealdstone on Tuesday.
An absolute homer of a ref we’re up against here. Absolutely awful. Wealdstone look decent and probably shouldn’t be 2-0 down, this isn’t over yet. We’ve been clinical so far though.
