Definitely the most uninspiring of all the uninspiring weekends of the season Chance to play a few who don't get much game time that's about it really.
Honestly I'd give a lot of players a start, I don't see the point in having a squad and not using them for games like these. Smith Dodds Waterfall Sass-Davies Bondswell Hunter Sheron Mancini Mathurin Lua Lua Madine
Shots away, second time in a month. I’m also OK with giving some of the fringe players a chance, similar to the side that played in the NL Cup last night.
Yep, I’d hope the same, although some of us are desperate to reach Wembley. Our only realistic chance is the Trophy. Whatever, I’m otherwise busy on Saturday, which usually guarantees a good performance….
Fairly straightforward game for Barnet. Expect the squad to be used but won't weaken the side put out.
I'd like to see us go as far as possible in this competition, so a convincing win on Saturday would tick two boxes for me. 1. Progress to the next round in the Competition. 2. Increase our confidence on the pitch and help build a good run to achieve a positive 2nd half of the season.
Roped into a family do so no Leamington away for me. Actually gutted to miss out on ticking it off. I really wouldn't mind a run in the Trophy or going for winning it. Saturday league fixtures get derailed by other teams having a run anyway so why not. I expect we'll have a few changes but still fairly strong and despite Leamington's good home record reckon we should be in the hat for the next round.
Im treating this weekend like a winter break. Really not arsed about it. Give the fringe players a run out and concentrate on wealdstone next sat
And your viewpoint will be shared by the majority of supporters, and judging by the comments post Tuesday night, Matt Taylor echoes those sentiments. Personally whilst we're still in and around the drop zone, the league is the priority.
So we've got Fylde away during a storm. Fully expecting a 2pm Saturday postponement where their chairman blames us for some reason
53mph winds at Aldershot according to BBC Weather from 3-5pm tomorrow - any chance some games are called off because of health and safety in and around stadiums?
All I want from this match against Darlo is no injuries.Would be happy to go out and concentrate on league. Hinslwood has already said fringe players are involved.
