Just watched some highlights and wow a couple of great goals from Morecambe today, just need to tighten up at the back and they'll come good.

Dewhurst is an unbelievable keeper at this level, miss him at Wealdstone. We'd probably be at least 3 points better off if he was in goal now.

Should also mention Jack Cook being out with an achilles injury is a massive blow to us, he's our best defender (and el capitano) by a country mile. Hopefully he's not gone for too long.

Only three? Baptiste keeps gifting goals away. More points thrown away today.

Fair point, I was being generous to him. We'd be playoffs otherwise.

Fair synopsis, thought they had a lot more of the first half, but that's going over semantics. It's been a while since I've been so annoyed over both opposition goals, completely avoidable and we could be in a far more comfortable league position otherwise if we had somewhat competent goalkeeping.

I'm quite pissed out and about in Truro centre but got to say the Truro fans I've met today are such a sound bunch. Hope they stay up.

Good win think a lot will come undone there.
I also thought Truro fans was brilliant against us and loved the visit.

From a town of 15,000 people, I'd say even being in Nat North was overachieving, let alone the Nat Legue itself. But I may have misunderstood your meaning.

It's almost like the other side on the pitch had no relevance to the outcome... it's just about the fact that Hartlepool must have played badly. Our mid table position has been achieved whilst playing half our matches against teams in the top 8 - which suggests to me we might just be not too crap.

I think I need to track down a Boreham Wood fan to set up a support group against the BELT oligarchy. Are there any?

It was a dreadful match, it wasn’t just us who were hopeless I thought we were both terrible to be fair, how your lad missed an open goal from 6 yards out I’ll never know, was harder to miss.

Ha, I’m a notorious defender of the traditional non-league sides, Boreham Wood in particular, despite the Shots being ex-league. The BELTs have largely forgotten why they are here, and treat the residents with distain.
I’m not sure there are enough “traditionalists “ on this site to form a defence group- certainly a counter to the BELT love-in would be welcome..
BTW, plenty to admire about Brackleys performance at the Rec recently. It’s a long hard slog of a season ,though, and it always comes down to squad depth.

Was not referring to you in the slightest. You were well organised and got the ball down and played football.
We seemed to be afraid for whatever reason take the reigns off, I can say that because i,ve seen much better from us.

Brackley need to understand that any points they take off Brotherhood clubs are because the Brotherhood team played the worst they've played all season. That is the rules and they are enshrined that way forever more. If anyone doesn't like it they can bugger off back to the regionals.
