Hartlepool away. Mani will probably score . Kept our first clean sheet of the season last weekend and I think we'll need another one to get anything out of this. If Waters has got international clearance by then he should be walking into the team. Even having not really played for a year and a half he's still better than anything else we've got up there.
Question from our board for you Oldham types, if you please?: "Anybody know the best way to get to Oldham or the Southend fans pub from the city centre. If its tram where do I need to get off?"
Pink/grey tram line from Manchester Victoria if supping in Manchester. Westwood is the closest tram stop to the ground - 15/20 min walk depending on your pace. We’re not spoilt for pubs close to the ground but there are a couple. If supping in Oldham, get off the tram a couple of stops later in Oldham Central (fox and pine a good pub in town). You’ll want a 5/10 min taxi to the ground from there.
It is daft timing. Could have been a 3PM KO and still televised due to Intl break. Also daft is a full suite of NL fixtures on Tuesday to clash with England, again. Personally not bothered about the Nations League. But I'd expect some really poor crowds mid week due to that. I'm looking forward to watching our game. Though I'll be streaming it now. Should be a good test for both of us. I'd be happy with a point given every other team you've played at home has conceded at least 3. If we keep you to 2 or less goals then I'd call that a success! Given you seem to be prone to conceding as well I can see either a high scoring draw here or a narrow win for one of us.
Hmm…top goal scorers against meanest defence, a good test for both teams. Can’t believe you’ve only conceded 2 goals, fantasy land for us. We set up with 3 at the back, 2 wing-backs, a number 10 and 2 forwards, so it’s all front-foot stuff. Our defensive philosophy is to keep the ball well away from our goal. All good fun, but not for the coaching-manual purists… Looking forward to it, won’t be dull..
I get the feeling dazn isnt very good and ive not even watched it yet. Strikes me as a make up artist trying to paint the mona lisa
What Dazn channel is the football on? I tried to watch a bit of Forest Green - Sutton and couldnt find it anywhere
Tbf this game isnt actually on DAZN. it's still on NLTV. Whether there are proper pundits, commentators etc or it's local radio or volunteers as with the normal streams I've no idea. The messaging seems to be that games will be on DAZN 'soon'. All seems a bit rushed after TNT pulled out. Annoying as the laptop I use for NLTV is ancient, I was kind've hoping to just watch on my telly.
You can. But this game isn't on there as far as I can see it's on NLTV like any other streamed match.
