The wife cried buckets ,but I managed to remain quite manly ,possibly asking the wife did she want a coffee and removing myself from the living room before that scene unfolded helped ? I think I got away with it ,although the wife did comment on her coffee tasting of tears ;)

I’m half way through this now. Probably gonna do the last 4 episodes tonight as they’re only 30 mins. It’s enjoyable rubbish!

It's pure hokum and basically the same premise as Reaper so it's right up my street ,I'm a sucker for a series that falls the right side of cult. One of my absolute faves was Dead Like Me which was f*cking the best thing on TV at the time. I highly recommend you watch both if they've passed you by mate.

Protection: ITV 6 part crime drama with Siobhan Finneran, from Happy valley. Started ok I thought, but then crawled along to its awful conclusion. Don't bother, is my advice! I don't think the lead was great casting. Katherine Kelly was also in it, and she might have been a better choice for the lead part.
Gets a 3/10 for me, ultimately crap.

I read the books back when they were released but I've not watched this yet - from the trailers it looks like David Tennant is playing RCB which I can't quite get my head around

Thank F....aries for that because he's less RCB in my head than Tom Cruise was Jack Reacher

    1923 Series 1 & 2.
Another great show and i thought Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren were both brilliant, some great shoot-outs and the ending was emotional i don't mind admitting i shed a tear at the final scene. 9/10.

I have started watching Daredevil & I am absolutely loving it. Almost done with the first season. I blame the movie for putting me off from the series for such a long time.

Finished with The Pitt. Top tier medical drama & it's nice to know that it has been renewed for second season.

Always felt Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls & Pushing Daisies are sort of a trilogy of paranormal+quirky dark humour from the brilliant mind of Bryan Fuller. Love all three of them.
Unsurprising that he went to develop Hannibal.

Pushing Daisies ,yeah that was another excellent series . Still a mystery as to why it was cancelled after winning so many awards ?

Writers' strike plus the network kept moving Pushing Daisies time around during its second season, which caused it to lose its viewers. It already was the kind of show that wouldn't be popular amongst everyone.

Then they cancelled it citing low viewership. I hated the series finale. It was rushed & abrupt, but otherwise Pushing Daisies was one of the best things on TV.

    Black Mirror - S7E1

It's not been the same since Hollywood took over, it doesn't hit the same now it's not British. The episode was ok but there wasn't much of a twist and you could see what would happen a mile away.

I'm not overly enthusiastic about watching the rest, I will, but I'm in no rush to. It's not because of the show specifically but I think the way society is at the moment and I know I'm being dramatic but I feel we're in act 2 of a real life black mirror.

I’ve not been that excited about the new series though I did enjoy season 6. I’ve only watched the USS Callister sequel so far and that was pretty good tbf

Even the fact that Black Mirror is doing sequels is just so wrong. One of the big attractions to this program was it's originality..

I thought the first episode was OK, pretty standard fare for Black Mirror even if you could see the ending from a mile off. Disappointed the Chris O'Dowd character didn't ask about turning it off and on again.

The second was ridiculous nonsense. Part of what made classic Black Mirror so good was that although the stories were far fetched, you could see how tech could end up with society going down that route to a certain extent. But using computers and a pendant to completely alter timelines and events? Absolute bollocks.

Finished all 3 seasons of Body Of Proof in the last couple of weeks. In the first episode I didn't know if I'd stick it as the FMC was a bit of a dick, but she got better and more likeable in subsequent episodes. The surrounding cast was good and worked well in the shows. The police chief a vile witch was detestable :)
All in all a solid 7.5 out of 10
