Any particular reason? I feel like this series captures the same originality of the first film and more.
The Long Shadow Found this accidentally & I loved it. This is a top quality mini series about the Yorkshire Ripper. There was not one iota of sensationalism, as it handled the topic & most of its situations maturely. I also loved how it made a genuine effort to show women's perspective. Brilliantly acted as well.
Yeah watched that recently the police were a disgrace in that case based of that show. Really good TV though.
Behind as usual The Good Doctor - Season 1 Really enjoyed this, well done and the lead playing Shaun is fabulous
Peter Kay’s Car Share I found this on the firestick and watched it again. It’s hilarious, and love the music on Forever FM. I would love to share a lift to work with those two!
Finished watching Countdown on Amazon Prime. Decent watch and should be a Season 2. Only gripe I have is should've Finished a couple of episodes earlier. Don't want to go into why for spoiler reasons.
ive just watched the 5th episode and it definitely has the feel of the first film. Outside of ‘Alien’ I’m not a big fan of the franchise but this has been excellent so far
Same here regarding Alien:Earth. It's indeed less action & more horror. I have caught up till episode 3 (taking it slowly). It took its time to get going, but you can always trust Noah Hawley to create interesting worlds.
Black Rabbit: Episodes 1-4 of 10 Stars Jude Law and Jason Bateman. It’s exhausting, but good exhausting..
Anyone watched Atomic yet? Any good? Got it on record but not watched yet. Got loads of aussie masterchef to catch up on. For anyone who like UK madterchef, watch the Aussie one. The format is so much better and the home cooks are epic.
Friday Night Dinner Another one I’ve found on the firestick. The family are quirky and entertaining, especially the dad, Martin, played by the late Paul Ritter. He’s hilarious with his nice bit of squirrel and taking his shirt off as he’s boiling When I originally watched it I found Jim, the neighbour, funny. Now he irritates the life out of me. Far too over the top.
my daughter loves this show. She struggles mentally with a lot of day to day things (due to a brain injury from birth), so she’ll put either this, or gavin and Stacy on to take her mind off of things. Due to this I have seen every episode of Friday night dinner at least half a dozen times. Still makes me chuckle through
For anyone who is interested series 3 of Tulsa King starts tomorrow on Paramount Plus and there will be a 4th season i read earlier, can't wait as i love the show with it's mix of comedy and violence.
