As the title says, just interested where people are heading this year. Feel free to recommend places too. For me: Lisbon (April)- A more 'cultured' trip. Going to go for 4 days or so with a mate, just to see the city, heard great things about it. Malia (July)- Typical 'lads holiday'. Has to be done at this age.
Pisa and Florence (February) so far. Nowhere else planned yet but I won't leave it long till the next trip. Lisbon's a really nice city, ended up going there in March last year for a few days. Sintra is highly recommended, a little outside of Lisbon. I wasn't in Portugal long enough to get there but will definitely aim to on my next trip to Lisbon.
Going to Malaga in 10 days for a week, my parents live there so flights costs me £53.98 return with Ryanair so can't complain at that especially with not having to pay for anywhere to stay.
This plan should be all booked within the next 2 months or so: September 10th to 18th going to New York. Get 3 consecutive days of sport with NY Red Bulls, Giants or Jets and Yankees all playing over that weekend. September 18th to 24th is Atlantic City, chose this over Philly as it looks epic as shown in this pic. Philly is only 1.5 hours away by train anyway so it's not that bad.
One of the most beautiful cities in Europe and still not ruined by the stags and hens, although it's surely coming. No plans yet. Will probably stay in Thailand and go to an island or two down south in March when the air in Chiang Mai gets unbearable.
Pisa/Florence in February with Spurs like DD, but only for 1 night so can't really count! If we win that, hopefully we get another good draw and I will go there, hopefully for more than 1 night. Other than that, no proper holidays planned. Parents are off on a 2 week safari in South Africa at Easter but I decided to stay at home.
Going to Cyprus in May (Late may, early June). With my family. Then somewhere with my mates in Late July, Early August with mates (Lads holiday).
Vancouver for Christmas and New Year. Flying into Seattle two days there, cross the border to Canada, Vancouver for a week, Whistler for snowboarding 22nd-26th back to Vancouver for new years fly back the 5th. Only paying for accommodation at Whistler and a hostel in Seattle for the night
Got a football weekend in Germany next month, but I might go to Romania around May for about 8 days or so. If I do that I'll probably go somewhere for 1.5 - 2 weeks in September as well (work gives us a free holiday day on our birthdays, so I usually opt for somewhere then) but absolutely no idea where yet. I've been going away often several times a year since the late 90s, and I've kind of got to the point where I've been everywhere where I want to go.
