So the story behind this is the Arsenal manager apparently squared up to a Chelsea player when she tried to use another ball to restart the game. Chelsea insisted on using a one ball system in the lead up to the game which is obviously something that stuck in Eidevall's mind/annoyed him.

I've seen a clip on the Women's highlights show which doesn't really show Eidevall squaring up to anyone but he was gesticulating a lot.

It's probably just sour grapes from Hayes. The fairytale quadruple in her final season is dead now, she's in the midst of a tight title race and has to figure out how to beat one of the most dominant female teams ever seen in Barcelona. Frustration probably got the better of her.

Amazing isn't it. Chelsea try to play with a multi ball system in the last minutes while losing after insisting on there being only one ball, Chelsea player marches up to Eidevall shouting at him when he complains about it, Emma Hayes pushes Eidevall when he goes over to shake her hand.

But because he then shouts after her to continue the discussion instead of just storming off, the narrative is all about him bringing "male aggression" into the game. F*ck off.

She really comes across a bit of a **** , thinks she's bigger than the game, sooner she ****s off, hopefully City win league and they get knocked out CL and she ****s off at end of season.

Apparently the FA aren't going to take any action against her. Joke really.

Saints keeper Kayla Rendell called up to the senior England squad, well deserved she's WSL quality easily.

England face Sweden tonight in their first Euro qualifier.

Should get off to a good start?

England losing the midfield fight. Need to get someone else in the centre to help Walsh.

Sounds like England got away with a draw there.

Looked very rusty, passes going astray, not knowing each others positions.

Germany got out of jail yesterday. We went 2:0 down early in the first half away to the Austrians in Linz. Campbell of Freiburg getting on the scoresheet twice for Austria. The backline was completely overwhelmed by the high pressing of the Austrians, and it's shocking how badly the Germans dealt with it. Especially Doorsoun looked so out of it. Luckily, we managed to nick one back before half time through a fiesty attempt from Klara Bühl.

In the 2nd half, German-Spanish Bibiana "Bibi" Schulze-Solano of Athletic Bilbao made her Germany debut, coming on for Doorsoun. She almost played for Spain, getting called up by them before the last World Cup, but got injured, ruling her out of the entire tournament. She did quite well with her crisp, fast and precise passing, typical Spanish with good football control. I think we'll see more of her, as she defended much more solidly than Doorsoun on this occasion.

The equaliser for Germany came early in the much better 2nd half by the Germans, with Bühl again finishing a nice team move. To get the winner, we profited from a laughable penalty award, which Giulia Gwinn made no mistake to get us the three points, despite being told to repeat the finely converted initial take. Germany controlled the rest of the game to maintain Hrubesch's good record. It was Gwinn's first game as captain, but when Alexandra Popp is back, I can't imagine a sort of Lahm-Ballack scenario repeating itself.

I'm shocked that even Italy beat Netherlands 2:0 now, especially after the Italians got trashed by England a few weeks ago.

Spain doing Spain things, obliterating Belgium 7:0 away at Leuven. And this is still without certain star players who refuse to play for the national team, midfield goal-machine Patri Guijarro of Barcelona, for instance. What a team!

Finally. I've seen far too many FA Cup semi final defeats.

Fantastic that we've reached the final, first ever final for the women
