WOW, did not see that coming.

    Fair play.

    Well done Arsenal.

What an incredible achievement from all involved. I’m not going to pretend I’m some die hard Arsenal Women’s team fan but they are a part of the whole institution and I couldn’t be prouder and happier for them.

18 years ago Leah Williamson was one of the mascots as Arsenal won their first title. Today, she was on the pitch for number two. That’s what it’s all about, inspiring the next wave of little girls to want to play football and achieve something.

And all the love to Renee Slegers too. In the space of less than a season she’s gone from being asked to steady the ship and be a safe pair of hands to etching herself in Arsenal history permanently.

    So yeah, mega happy.

Surely a victory parade for the team?

No parade but more a congregation outside the Emirates with a public trophy lift.

Well done Arsenal. I love the women's game almost as much as the men's and an English win is a win, even Chelsea who I normally depise although less so for the women. Bodes well for the women's Euros.

Barça's attack was turned off; impressive defending by Arsenal; a clean sheet against this generation of Barça's players is a titanic feat. Pajor looked miserable.

That said, I still think the squad sorely missed Bronze and Walsh this season.

    Very fast start by England.

    2 up inside 6 minutes!

    EDIT: 5-0.

    Great half .

Nations League: Germany vs Netherlands 4-0

Great performance yesterday at Werder Bremen's Weserstadion. Both teams were equal on points before the match (Germany with the way better GD).

A win would send us to the Final Four in the Nations League (like the men's team).

And it was never in doubt. The Dutch had no chance. Now we even can lose the last group match against Austria, doesn't matter.

btw: Don't know why we played in the away shirt in a home match and not in traditional black-white home shirt but I really like the away shirts colours.
