Just given this a go and got in 4 attempts.

Can see this is going to become very addictive.

 

First crack at it and done in four. Can see why it's quickly become popular.

 

Not that clever, you've just told everyone else 3 of the letters.

Needed all six lives today. Toughie, for me anyway..

I got fortunate with guess 3. I locked in the 2nd letter with guess 2 and also got another letter that guess too.

Do you go into it with any kind of plan/opening word? My opening word at the minute is tiger. Couple of vowels and common consonants so I think it is a useful opening, though yesterday it netted me nothing

 

I use the word, TRIES as my first erm, try..

 

That's a nice starter. Might steal it. Steal could also be a decent starter.

 

I’ve only played it twice, but isn’t using the same word to start a waste?.

 

I would say the opposite. If you find a good opening word to use it can set the rest of your game up well.

Get as many common letters out of the way as you can at the start.

Though that does reduce the chance to get a lucky guess at the start.

 

I’m obviously using a different strategy, but seeing as I’ve only played twice it’s hard to tell if it’s working.

 

First time playing not sure how but I got 4 of the letters in the first guess
