I am liking it so far the presentation side of it but he's still too over as a babyface to do a heel faction they just beat down Sami Zayn one of the biggest babyfaces in the company and got a positive reaction.
I just feel they need to switch it up a bit. The whole Freakin Rollins stuff needs to go. He needs to change his loud clothing. Because he just comes across as unserious. Whereas they showed up with Brekker in a suit to show how he is to be viewed now. Even Heyman is going more old school heel manager similar to his days with Lesnar. Seth seemed no different though. At this point it is just a waiting game for Brekker to break out on his own with Heyman swatting Rollins aside. So all feels a bit like they're just treading water to me. Given the fans are going to keep chanting Rollins's song they may as well have just had Punk be the faction leader. He is at least better in that role and would get one last run with Punk and Heyman. The Brekker turn on Punk would also be way cooler.
Far better match between Cena and Orton last night compared to the slop at WM for the title. They need to rethink those spaceship cockpit like announce tables as they don't seem to collapse anywhere near like the old tables used to. Ruins the spots.
Cena Vs RTruth at Saturday Night Main Event. Cena Vs CM Punk at Money In The Bank Cena Vs Cody at Summerslam Is my guess.
Sami Zayn wins MITB. Threatens to cash in on Cena over and over again. Gets in Cena's face a lot. Heated promos, so on. Jey Uso and Gunther (or someone else) run it back at Summerslam. Have an absolute war, maybe a gimmick match of some sort. Jey Uso manages to get through it but it takes a real toll on his body......Sami Zayn runs down and betrays him. Cashes in.
Just seen something about Sabu passing away! Sure I only see clips of him jumping into barbwire last week!

R-Truth has "announced" his pending release at the end of his contract. I find it hard to tell if it's a work or not.
It's funny seeing the IWC cry about it knowing he's gonna just sign a legends deal within a year he's 53 ffs
Let’s be blunt - R-Truth adds good comedy value but probably hasn’t really added anything as an actual wrestler for 10+ years now. Absolutely no point or value keeping him around on a full time contract / schedule. Will probably sign a legends / part time contract. Probably did his best ‘serious’ work in the early days of TNA. If I was AEW I’d sign him on a short term contract & just have him wandering around in the background looking lost and / or seeing ex WWE talent & either calling them Edge or acting like he’s never met him before because he’s Adam Copeland now..
I do think it’s a shame he’s going. A bit of comedic value does help mix the product up a bit. I think the larger concern would be that it sounds like it’s caused quite a stir in the locker room
This is one of thw reasons why they are desperate to put AEW out of business. Compeition means higher wages for wrestlers, so when TKO tell them they need to cut costs wrestlers have to go. If AEW is gone they can get away with lower wages again, and hold onto more talent.
Mariah May debuts on NXT - though not named so likely will have a re-brand She is entering with much less fanfare than Jade Cargill, but is probably a lot more competent in the ring! her work with Toni Storm in AEW was top notch
