It will be inyeresting to see how she does. She was ahead of the game during the divas era, but I imagine a lot of the newer talents are better than she ever was. Plus she hasn't wrestled in about 10 years.
The 57 year long bloodline saga with 31 Uso turns & new 8 Samoan’s finished me off. The Rock & heel Cena piqued my interest for about 3 seconds. Massively dropped the ball with that one…
Yes. I still watch a bit, but no show currently has me tuning in religiously. NJPW has never truely recovered from the loss of all the guys that went to AEW, and Naito's knees are done which just ruined their main event scene further. WWE in ring action wasn't good enough for their shows during Covid lockdown to be watchable. The changes to NXT ruined imo the best weekly wrestling show of all time. HHHs booking started out well, but too many stories just get dragged out far too long, as there is still a reliance on the same handful of stars. AEW managed Covid era much better, and were doing really well until the Punk fallout. They have started recovering, and the weekly shows are getting better (the PPVs always deliver, and I still watch all of them), but part of the magic is gone. TNA is just there for their wrestlers to lose to WWE jobbers. NWA isn't good enough to watch weekly.
thats a good summary @PorkchopExpress I am back to my mid 2000s where i will still religiously check the results online of the main shows, and then catch up on any highlights retrospectively shame as there are some bright spots to be had e.g. Stephanie Vaquer to see if she can carry the title well etc.
I think we're about to get some new chapters on that one. They're slow burning Uso v Uso again. I got no beef with them giving the guys a chance to make up for the let down at WM40.
The wrestling fan in me still wants to watch every show from every company from every country, but there's just not enough time in the week. So you have to pick and choose. We still watch Dynamite on a weekly basis, and all of the PPVs. We still enjoy them in our house. Any other shows or other companies are strictly on a "oh a cool thing happened? I'll find a highlight" basis. Otherwise I won't watch them and I won't look for results or info. If I find myself at a loose end, which is rarely, there are always other things to do unfortunately.
I've stopped watching too tbh I go through phases of watching it probably start watching again close to royal rumble & mania season. Nothing is really getting my attention atm in WWE and I even watched a bit of AEW the other day some decent stuff but not enough to keep me interested and seeing a guy use a flamethrower just takes me out it's stupid. I saw Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate in luchador masks on the other channel and I'm just tapped out lol.
seems the influx of indie stars from 5/6 years ago is slowly dissipating away - Santos Escobar the latest one to leave Shame as he is obviously talented and could have been built up to be a star. Weirdly now and AAA return is likely out of the window given WWE now own them? unless it now isnt as simple as a transfer of contract?
Cena vs Styles one last time what a match. They are wrestling soulmates and two of the best to ever do it.
