Ian Holloway said the game had gone made after we signed the first ever non-league £1mil player. Undoubtably the greatest player we’ve ever had at the club by this point and likely ever will have.
Nah, Vardy easily a greater Leicester player. As great as Kante was, he was only here 1 season and Vardy has achieved far more for the club. Also, as much as you might expect someone to say Vardy, Mahrez or Kante’s performances during our title winning season were the best they’ve ever seen from a Leicester player, undoubtedly the best ever for me was Vardy during that first year under Rodgers between Feb 2019-the March 2020 lockdown where he scored 30 goals in 34 PL starts and was just unreal. We obviously completely collapsed and bottled it down to 5th after the covid restart, but Vardy for that year or so before was putting in the best performances I’ve ever seen from a Leicester player.
I suppose it depends how far back you go, he's easily the best of my life time but others would have grown up watching Gordon Banks, Peter Shilton, Davie Gibson, Keith Weller & Frank Worthington etc. They may argue them
I’m old enough to have seen them all and imo none come even close. I suppose if you go way back into the past you could include the two Arthurs.
