    I'm very pleased with this signing, he impressed me when he played for Norwich in the premiership a couple of seasons ago.
    Who do you reckon will get dropped for him, Spring or Mahon?

    Hopefully we can sign Lee Hendrie and drop them both!!

    As captain cant see Mahon getting dropped.

    I would rather drop Mahon than Spring, I don't think Mahon is up to Premiership standard.

    It's a decent signing. Although apparently he has a bit of an attitude problem, but I'm sure Boothroyd won't take any shit.

    I've always maintained the Championship is the limit for Mahon. However, as he is captain i doubt he'll be dropped. With regards to spring i feel he is way to inconsistent and at times your hardly notice he is on the pitch. Signing Hendrie would mean we would have an exceptional midfield with decent cover.

    Hendrie is hardly Mr Consistent himself. He can't get into the Aston Villa team because of his lack of consistency.

    No, i think you'll find he cant get into the Villa team because of a personality clash with the muppet O'Leary. Everytime i have seen him play for Villa he has been their best player.

    All in all a very ill-informed and somewhat naive response Mr Watfordfc:rolleyes

    this is a good signing , but youll have to forget walcott , wenger wants him in the CHAMPIONSHIP , AND IF YOU HANT NOTICED , YOUR NO LONGER IN IT

    Good signing Watford, We had Damo for 2 seasons and he was one of our best players, in the premiership he scored about 7 or 8 goals and he was our top scorer. He is a box to box midfielder who has lots of energy, he is a great passer of the ball and gets into the box alot and he can score some great goals, I was suprised that he didn't do well at Wigan, but I'm sure Adiy know's him from his time as our youth team manager so I reckon he'll do well for you next season.
