Trouble is they don’t need to defend in Scotland so get caught out against decent teams

Surprise surprise, from the non-Rrangers fan. Wonder what the score would be if Sunderland ever got into Europe? We'll never find out

Surprise surprise, of all of the negative remarks about Celtic in this thread you only pick mine out.

And i suppsose you think never getting into Europe is worse than getting there and being schooled for 5 goals in one half? :bye

Yes, I DO believe getting into Europe, and actually having won the European Cup, is better than never getting there, even when the occasional pumping against top-class team happens. Take it you aren't at the Stadium of Light tonight.

I was around at the time, was also around when Raith legend Ian Porterfield scored Sunderland's winner at the 1973 FA Cup final, pity you weren't.

6-1 now. Celtic must be praying for full time.

More dead rubbers was exactly what this competition needed.

Think 8th / 9th might be decided by who has a +20 goal difference after 8 games.

Trossard was superb playing the Odegaard role I thought, wouldn't have expected that.
Surprised Sterling isn't getting some game time.

Tomorrow's fixtures look a little more balanced.

Far too many mismatches tonight. It's not a good look on the competition when several are losing by 4+. Dortmund's 7-1 isn't even the biggest win of the competition as it stands.

Yep. Champions league should be for Champions, not teams who finish third in the Swiss league. Bring back the old days when Celtic and three other teams entered..
