@Mossley Bantam Can you do me a favour? Get the next match thread up to make me even more miserable. Cheers, matey.
Devastating performance and helps the goal difference which was one problem we had. When your throwing on George Byers, Rico Richards and Ronan Curtis on as subs things aren’t too shabby. Another win. Maybe two should do it. Got to keep this level up.
Aye fair play. At the start of the season you only had two things: A dream and fifty million pounds #Champions
Arggggghhhhh what the ****!!! As soon as you think you're comfortable this season then BAM 10-15 mins of madness and it throws the whole thing open again. We had some great chances at 2-0 to make it 3-0. Then we lose Doug Tharme and it all goes to pot. I don't even know if Rose needs to head that into his own net for the equaliser there? Proper proper pisser that. Better team by miles for 70 mins and then we hit self destruct.
Know how you feel today. At 12.40pm I thought we were well on our way to promotion. But again we have had to rely on most results going our way to cling onto top 3 spot
Walsall were absolutely pants, they couldn't have complained if we'd have won that 4-0. Their fans were going ballistic at the end. But, the majority of that was because it was a great team performance by ourselves. Can't say we aren't doing our bit to upset the promotion race. Vale, Notts, Walsall beaten, late comeback to draw at Wimbledon in recent weeks. You're welcome Bradford and Donny.
What a mental season. No one wants to go up, except Vale who look like they now have one of the spots tied up. Fully expect us to somehow win at Bradford next week only to immediately lose at home to Cheltenham to throw it out the window again.
Yeah it’s mad really as at the start of the season if you’d shown Grimsby or Bradford fans their current positions after 42 games both would have been ecstatic with it yet right now the lot of us all feel like absolute shit. That last second Gillingham winner has won my bet for me though so I’d say that cheered me up maybe around 25% but I’d much rather that had not come in and we’d held on against Harrogate.
