That was an awful performance from Inter. Unbelievable how far they have fallen since the treble in '10.
Fancied Inter to lose away to Cluj on Thursday but the put in a decent shift and got the job done. The Milan derby is on Sunday night and with the two teams coming off good wins in Europe it should be good. Juve are on at two against Siena too
Yeah, looking forward to the Milan derby. Though with the form Milan are in, hard to see past them for this one. Inter have lost their way domestically.
Should be a decent game here. AC will be on high spirits after Barca result. Inter were pants against Fiorentina though, would be surprised if they put a similarly dispiriting performance in this though.
Is Pirlo the coolest man in world football?
Big match last friday between Napoli and Juventus. Really enjoyed it. Would have been good to see Napoli win from a neutral standpoint to really make things interesting in the race for the Scudetto but Juventus are just too strong. No other teams are consistent enough to really challenge them in my opinion. Scary to think how much stronger they would be, and how much farther ahead they would be with a world class centre forward (or two). As always, Juventus continue to be a joy to watch under Conte but I've also really enjoyed watching Montella's Fiorentina this season, fully deserving of their 'baby Barcelona' nickname. They're still very much in with a shout of possible Champions League football, as are quite a few other teams. Bit sad to see Zeman leave Roma as he is certainly unique in Italian football but it was for the best in my opinion.
Zeman was great for the neutral but I'd say his tactics gave some Roma fans mini strokes. I only got to see the Juve/Catania game this weekend. Juve deserved the win but Catania proving tough opposition this season.
I think Napoli will lose their CL spot, with Cavani in his current form they aren't the team they were before newyear. Fiorentina are doing great and have a lot of easy fixtures coming up.
27 managers in 11 years!? http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3276/serie-a/2013/03/11/3817055/breaking-news-palermo-sack-gasperini Madness and have they improved in that time?
Best thing about Palermo is, they routinely fire and re-hire the same manager, even during the same season. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._Città _di_Palermo_managers
Yes - I hear a lot of club maybe in the lower reaches of the league do that. Strange. These owners have money to burn I guess like RA at Chelsea.
I'm surprised no one has posted this up yet.
