Where did you learn italian so well? I know my friend, don’t worry. It goes without saying that we should not generalize but I often read comments like that, as if we italians are ok with that and we don’t care. I would be bothered if someone who is not from here would take that for granted. It wasn’t against you personally obv. The thruth is that stupid people always make more noise than others.
Going to seem daft but a combination of Gazzetta Football Italia on Channel 4 and a friend who worked in Como for 10 years. He showed me a picture of his work colleague and she was and still is stunning. So I was like hmmm and he said unless you speak Italian you got no chance I just went along with it and whilst sounding very odd, done alright. And My aunt helped as she can speak Italian and a couple of other languages. Definitely, completely agree. I must visit Italy at some point in my life.
