This is a hypothetical celebration right? Hard for something to escape the mindset of other fans about this celebration when it’s not real. You also suggest that this celebration would show how different your fan base is to everyone else’s. But it’s not a real celebration, because your fan base isn’t different to anyone else’s… you can only imagine the hysteria because it’s not real and there wouldn’t be any. Your whole post is a bit confusing to be honest. I’ll just create a hypothetical one in my head that makes a bit more sense.
There was a goodbye planned but it's been shelved now ,so you can quell your indignation ,possibly a good thing in your case as we certainly don't want that swede of yours imploding with the hypothetical now do we ?
Julian Ward is returning as technical director. Seems clear that an issue arose between Klopp and the those in the data teams that led to Edwards and Ward leaving. In the end it is right Klopp won out. I do also think it's smart to bring these people back though. It helps settle the ship a bit.
Be interesting to see how they get on without Klopp there. Maybe they were just massively overhyped and Klopps superb management covered for it?
He might as well leave now really and give the new guy as much time as possible, nothing else to play for. Just sneak out quietly.
All Klopp needs to do now is get tactically outsmarted by Gary O'Neil and it's been the perfect send off.
Maybe Man City are really massivley overhyped and Peps mangement covered for it... What a ridiculous thing to say
How’s it ridiculous? What have they done elsewhere? Were they at the club before Klopp (not sure?) if so, what did they do? Klopp and Pep are both elite managers and coaches, there’s no doubt about that.
F*ck me they don’t like a couple of questions being asked of anyone at their club do they? How precious.
A club's structure above management will still be defined by the performance of the manager. People like Michael Edwards, Txiki Begiristain, Edu....they're all still at the mercy of whether the manager does well or not. It's why I've found this increased focus on DoFs a bit strange over the last 2-3 years.
Couple of questions? You posted a ridiculous statement for bites and got one. Who are you suggesting are over hyped? Every single player played under Klopp? Or just certain ones? How do you even measure stuff like that? Where do you stop? Does this mean every single club, player, etc that does well, under a top manager is just...overhyped? Or just Liverpool? Youre favourite topic (besides beating up teenagers)? Its a pathetic question that could never be answered. Is De Bruyne over hyped because he plays under Pep? After all he hadnt achieved much beforehand...thats your logic anyway. Managers can only do so much, players have got to score goals themselves, be top defenders, etc...yes, the manager picks the team, gives out tactics, etc...but he can't do that with a team of poor overhyped players.
I assumed they were talking about Julian Ward and Michael Edwards seeing as that was the post before theirs
I took it its the team/players he was talking about. And his follow up quote to my quote seems to verify that?
