Well I did not expect that when I checked the score! Crawley are much better than their stuttering form at the end of the season but 3-0 is a massive result. If we finish the job on Friday they’re probably the team I’d have least liked to face at wembley despite having a good record against them
Donny v Crawley final then unless something bizarre happens. £10 on Donny @ 14/1 for promotion so hope they do it, Yoooooooorkshire.....
The bizarre certainly happened in the first 15 minutes or so. Doncaster a bit better as the half went on but really showing nothing of the form that has got them into the playoffs so far tonight.
Fake Dons are 5/1 to get through tomorrow & turn it around & chance for you to get your money back , nothing is done & dusted in the play offs & echoes of Donny losing on penalties to Charlton 5 or 6 years ago with McCann in charge then , wouldn't surprise me if he was at Barnsley with his Son Baylee or Huddersfield start of next season .
Just got home, gutted can’t even begin to cover it. I thought the game was actually pretty similar to the first leg, with Crewe dominating the first 15 minutes but they were clinical this time around. We were on top for pretty much the rest of the game after that but didn’t create many clear cut chances. We lost control once Matty Craig was taken off It’s such a strange one. The feeling right now is one of utter despair, but I tell you what these have been the best few months as a Rovers fan for half a decade. The run that the squad put together was nothing short of phenomenal, everyone pulling in the same direction and players who I thought were done have stepped up and delivered. When you stop and remember that we were looking at relegation out of the football league just a few months ago, then look at the Keepmoat tonight packed out, with a brilliant atmosphere I know that the club is in a much much better place than this time last year. We’ll pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and go again next year. RTID
Hard luck mate - we’ve been there many times. Hopefully the momentum from the end the season can build into an autos push next season. The bad times in football are what make the good times meaningful, try to hold onto that.
Cheers mate! Yeah it’s certainly still stinging but my overriding feeling is one of sheer joy when I think about how much we’ve turned things around. McCann in his post match interview was saying all the right things, telling the squad that we’re going for the title next year and if they’re not up for the fight then they need to get speaking to other clubs. Slightly wary that the last time he said all this he pissed off to Hull But he has come across very genuine this year about how he wants to finish off what he started with us a few years ago Big summer ahead as I can’t see us getting Lo-Tutala or Craig back. Then it’s still up in the air over Molyneux, Adelakun and Biggins. We’ve got a really good squad now that just needs complimenting with a few key signings
I'd be surprised if some fans hadn't jumped the gun & bought train tickets & or secured early parking spots for the big day out albeit being Yorkshire Folk many will be pleased they're not having to part with around £200 for the day , shame , i was hoping for Donny back in League 1 , but hey ho .
DONNY GET BATTERED EVERYWHERE THEY GOOOO Where are Scunthorpe? National League North? Why are they posting on here? If Donny were in National League North then we would REALLY have problems. There's no disgrace in being in the play-offs of whatever league you are in.
He's just a wum ignore him he's just jealous you are in The EFL and his team are a lower league side.
Here as a neutral. How in gods name did MK Dons come 4th? Utterly clueless. Crawley must be favourites for the final.
Will Crawley creep their way into League one or Crewe derail them ? Either way been a fantastic season for both .
