So close to an equalizer, to then get suckered 4-2. Shame for Halifax.

Watched the last 20 fair play to Fax made a good game of it but ran out of steam. Shame that header didn’t go in at 3-2

I blame it on that Millingdon. They've had a terrible season playing negative football and are hugely underachieving with their crowds and budget.

Solid 2nd half effort. Gave ourselves too much to do sadly.

I hope to god thats the last time we see the likes of Harker. Cooke. Cosgrave pull on a town shirt though.

Unlucky Halifax. Horrible losing in the playoffs but you’ve still overachieved this season imo

You forgot that every time they lost a game they appeared on relegation thread.

Well done Chorley. One of ours got your winning penalty. Hopefully we can renew our rivalry next season

Think it was just one game too many for us last night. The players looked noticeably leggy, and rightfully so given our recent fixtures.

We still managed to give it a good go, and would have been very interesting had that Harker header gone in at 3-2.

Bit of a disappointing way to lose, but it’s been a good season overall. Hopefully for once, we can retain the majority of our players and add a bit of extra quality, and be in playoff contention again.

Likely Jeff King will be available, would you like him back? General consensus is Cook will let him go. Could see him at Rochdale, Oldham etc
