Have to get promoted. Nice to play some teams we haven't met for a while, especially as I work with a Greek guy!

Just wanted to write that England is surely #1 in this group and will also be in this "mysterious" Final Four....until I realized....:whistle :D

We got Bosnia, Hungary and our friends from the Netherlands.

One thing is for sure, that DFB won't give the home leg against the Dutch to the Volksparkstadion this time, especially not with Koeman as Bondscoach. I couldn't take it to lose 3-times against this twat in "my" stadium ;)

Could play until midnight and still not score.

Turks down to ten men and did nothing to test the keeper.

    Shite.

Shocking start as always, but then we deserved a victory against France. A little to early to get excited but that's what I'd like to see.

France vs Italy 1-3 :eeek Congrats @Cassio. A new fresh wind is blowing in Azzurri land after the Euro?

btw: Seems that the Swiss not only lost the match in Denmark but also 2 of their players lost it. Red for Elvedi and (of course) Xhaka. Both playing in the Bundesliga

We're playing our first match today in Düsseldorf against Hungary. Kimmich is the new captain and Ter Stegen the new #1 in goal. In 3 days we're away in Amsterdam against our friends :D

    That’s what I hope!

Spalletti made it clear, we will only use one system (3-5-2) for the next two years, since all the big clubs in Italy play like that. We have Tonali back (a beast today), Udogie came back from injury and vs France we had Barella out. We need a striker, we don’t have one. I like Retegui but he can’t be a starter, we miss a top quality striker and there is no one right now.

    Morning after the night before.

Was a little disappointed at the time with a 0-0 but impressed with the new style of play. Was a much faster tempo and we were pinging around some good passes. Was getting the ball out wide and got two speed merchants in Brennan Johnson and Sorba Thomas on the wings.

Was a breath of fresh air what I saw last night after the stale boring football under Page. Not expecting miracles and not making silly predictions but did like what I saw.

Will admit wasn't sure on Bellamy being the boss at the start but really do want him to succeed and put two fingers up to those who doubted him and that's me included.

Agreed. Shame not to have converted into a win, but you could straightaway detect a new style of play. Which the players seemed to enjoy and which was much more entertaining to watch.

Early doors and patience may be needed but definitely encouraging signs.

Irish until they realise they’re probably good enough to play the England!

According to Andros Townsend, Seamus Coleman is 'probably the greatest human being on earth'.

    Bold call IMO.

Carsley has me moved already ngl. He is smart enough to have Trent inverting pulling strings.

Rice and grealish being given absolute pelters by the Irish crowd

    Rice then scores.

Trent splits Ireland open with ball that was never on under Southgate. Rice picks up scraps after Ireland fail to tracks anyone after a save by kelleher.

Would have been nice to hold onto rice and grealish because they certainly would've made us a better team. But at least they haven't made England any better really
