He's been charged and remanded in custody,if he isn't sent to prison then it will clearly show we have two tier policing in this country.
Sorry it was a typo, I meant to say Iraq. What was I "not tolerating" ? I thought there was a possibility she was, or had been, a bloke, given what was being reported and the fact that she looks like a bloke. If I was wrong then I take it back.
Ahh, but I wasn't sure it was a woman, neither were many others, it was a big media story and was therefore legitimate to talk about. I'm fairly sure she is not on ff and the comments didn't upset her. Stop being so permanently "offended" ffs.
Pretty sure that’s from 2020 in London and the FLA, but yeah point still stands Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good to see, but it brings into sharp focus the 5 and 6 year sentences handed to the Just Stop Oil protest organisers, whose offences were massively annoying but ostensibly non-violent.
That's actually hilarious. Wait until he learns about how many Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims fought as part of the British Army in WWI. No doubt "they were the good 'uns".
Those sentences weren't long because of the type of crime but for two main reasons - firstly the amount of victims and the impact upon them. There were victim statements from hundreds of people impacted including people who had cancer treatment delayed by months, a woman who was taking her baby to A&E who was traumatised thinking she was going to lose her child, people who missed flights costing them hundreds of pounds, students who missed exams, a child with special needs who missed a dose of medication putting him and his driver at risk as he becomes violent without it, a HGV driver who was unable to make a food delivery to a hospital leaving them unable to feed patients...it goes on and on, and that's just the ones that we know about. Secondly throughout the entire trial the JSO activists used it as another platform to preach their beliefs, telling the judge that their actions were necessary, that it didn't matter what impact they had on people, and that they would continue to repeat their actions until the "crisis" is over. If you're ever on trial I suggest you don't try telling the judge your crime was necessary, you don't care how other people were affected and that you'd be committing crime again as soon as you're back out, repeatedly and for the foreseeable future. He won't be lenient.
Absolutely revolting When tf are we going to punish Bush, Blair and the rest of the neocons for what they did to that country?
I know nobody is probably paying any attention but one part of the UK isn't succeeding is stopping riots and they may need to import police to try. Years.of underinvestment and suspension of the devolved government has lead to a situation where the chickens have come home to roost for the political parties in Northern Ireland as thugs from both traditional sides are out attacking minorities for 5 nights running. While people are up in court and sentanced in England someone was nearly killed in Northern Ireland with businesses getting targeted nightly. Imo the politicians on both traditional sides let the public there down for years and it took an all put public service strike to get them to stop acting out. Now the under investment and lack of police is showing up.
