Tommy is a Mossad tosser that should be in jail for the rest of his life for working for a foreign gov and disrupting peace. Let alone everything else he's done.
I knew I shouldn’t have posted about religion when I had a few drinks Just to clarify my thoughts on it all: I class myself as agnostic because I am just not sure. I actually hope that when we die we our spirit does live on and we meet our loved ones again in heaven. I also wonder if reincarnation is a thing but none of us know and will not know until we do die. If that is what my original post implied what I thought then I apologise. I know that the majority of people who follow any religion are good people.
I didn’t think there was anything wrong with what you said! People are good or bad regardless of whether they are religious or not. And people should be able to believe what they want, as long as they are not hurting or trying to impose their views on others
I’m not sure who you’re apologising to, you didn’t say anything that I found offensive. I’ve seen countless posters on here basically state the same that the world would be a better place without religion without acknowledging the very important part that it played in the development of our civilisation and also terrible atrocities that have been done in it’s name. Although I would also point out the MAN has always found reasons for killing each other be they political or for the sake of just power or greed. The only reason I quoted you was yet again I woke in the middle of the night and couldn’t get back to sleep and I’ve always had a fascination with the nature and function of belief and why as a species we are universally prone to it. Anyway time to go I’m starting to get a headache thinking about it and this thread has been derailed long enough.
Ceasefire announced. Shame the Orange tit is trying to take credit for it. Hopefully a line is drawn for Pakistan to not indulge in misadventure again, though I am absolutely certain they will continue with their terrorists export in future as well. In case anyone was suspecting whether the targets were of terrorists or not, here's a Sky's news report.
I saw that on Twitter about 30 mins ago - grok has debunked it. What I have just seen on BBC news is Pakistan’s foreign minister saying other countries were involved but “most notably the United Kingdom” and “The UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, played a key role in this process."
Pakistan being the usual prick. Violating ceasefire. This is our Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir Violations in multiple positions across the border. Drones being sighted & our Air defence kicking in actions. Historical ****s. This is not new for Pakistan. Old saying, 'You turn your back to Pakistan, & they come back to stab'. On ground journalists reporting it now. This is what Modi gets for bending down & listening to Trump. Not a patch on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who showed the middle finger to Reagan when he ordered her to ceasefire back in the old war.
Would India be able to fight as well as in "the old war" this time around though? Maybe your army and navy will, but between 2019 and losing a Rafale this time around, there are valid questions about the Indian Air Force's competence.
I consider myself spiritual and not religious. I agree religion has caused alot of hurt especially the koran. Their fanatics who misinterpret that book are crazy. I think the bible was written to make money for the church or whatever organisation wrote it. There might have been a guy called Jesus but no water to wine. If people did see tha he was probably one of the first magicians. I totally believe or have faith there is a God or a higher power. And I think the world would be safer if people believed in him. For instance if I ever had the thought of killing somebody I just wouldn't do it because of consequences after we die. Too many people don't worry about that in this very short life.
Never said that. Just pointing out it could get alot worse when you die. I am a pretty peaceful guy and don't like violence.
Yeah. Air force inferior, because Pak gets way better aircraft imports from US & China. Surprisingly the Air Force's air defence on ground held up this time (S400 + indigenous Aakash system that took down all the drones for the past three days). Everything else is far superior & including the size of military which is thrice the size of their's. But above all the Navy is massively better. Just our big boy INS Vikrant, which is currently on standby in Arabian Sea, is enough & something that scares Pakistan the most. There's also Brahmos. EDIT: More on the ceasefire. WTF does 'alarming intelligence' even mean? Can only think of one thing, considering we have signed the on 'No first use' policy & they haven't.
It baffles me that supposedly very smart leaders feel the need to start war and kill innocent civilians nowadays or any time really. Guess sometimes madness comes with high iq
Imagine tolerating this shit for decades. This doesn't include the constant barrage of infiltrations on the border regions by Pakistan based/trained terrorists. If anything we haven't done enough. @topic. Still trying to understand what spooked the US. Western Media implying Pakistan used their usual threat of Nuclear weapons, which caused the American establihsment to go from 'the war is not our business' to urgently making calls to both sides to de-escalate & do ceasefire in less than a day. Shame really. We had the ****s at their throats, without the Navy even coming to play. It's hilarious that Pakistan is claiming victory when we destroyed 12 of their Air bases. But that's Pakistan. They believe they even won the 1971 War, despite losing half of their country. Happy that Modi is increasingly getting bludgeoned locally for offering ceasefire instead of inflicting more damages to the Pakistan military establishment. Never has my country seen a leader so obsessed to be an American pet. EDIT: I hope the Indus Water Treaty remains suspended. Really annoying to see Orange tit trying so hard to claim the credit.

Peter Sullivan: Man jailed for 1986 murder acquitted after 38 years The Government will charge him bed and board if he gets any compensation. 38 years FFS. Just imagine everything he has missed out on in life. This chap would have been executed if some had their own way.
Utterly disgusting in so many ways. He's practically lost his life - he's a pensioner now and whilst any compensation he gets should mean he lives a comfortable life, he's missed out on the best years of the one life he gets! Then the charging of these people for "bed and board" is just despicable. Like it has been some sort of choice of his to stay there like it's a hotel! And then not forgetting that this means that the person who actually murdered that woman has probably been walking around freely for 38 years. And even if they are caught now, they won't live long enough to serve anywhere near the time this guys has done. As you say, it is cases like this that prove why the death penalty should never return!
Not since the Andrew Malkinson case in August '23, the ridiculous 'bed and board' thing was scrapped. Regardless Peter Sullivan's life has been destroyed and as you said many people would have wanted him hanged. Another case where the evidence of his innocence was available to Police all along.
