We’re supposedly confident of completing the transfer of Estevao Willian from Palmeiras. We’re not short of Brazilian “wonderkids” or right wingers so no idea how true it is. Seems like there’s a number of exceptional young talents coming out of South America lately. Historically, it’s always felt a bit of a lottery with how these talents develop in Europe.
Excited about him. I know he made his senior debut only recently, but he looks like such an exciting prospect. All the more better he comes from the same talent pool as Endrick. The possibility of Estevao and Paez joining the squad summer of 2025 in time for the CWC would be immense.
Tricky one. On one hand he sounds like a really exciting, exceptional talent that we might never get another chance at signing again. But on the other hand we already have Palmer, Madueke, Angelo, Hutchinson and Paez that play on the ring wing. Teenage signings are always be a bit hit and miss (especially those coming from different continents). Is he really worth the gamble when we have different areas of the squad to address?
Seeing as you’re so massively over staffed, we’ll take Omari off your hands. Presumably you’ll be looking to move him on anyway although probably beyond our budget. He’s looked very handy coming off the left recently as well.

Yep, and Villa are probably (I have absolutely nothing to back this up) more likely to use more of their budget on him than Arsenal and Utd are.
