That’s how those clauses are always referred to. Doesn’t mean it’s higher than that.

I know, that’s why I found the wording stupid. If four clubs offer £60 Million there’s nothing we can do. No idea why that’s put there. I mean a club could offer £65 Million, but that’s unrealistic really.

I think it's probably referring to the addons. So it's 60mill minimum if the clauses aren't met.

I'm sure we can all bid 60 so Chelsea can bid 85?

    Would that help.

    Just let us know.

Then Man United will come in with a £100 Million bid.

They only do that after you reject their own bids.

Maybe set them a deadline to.panic over

Albrighton, Iheanacho and Praet confirmed as leaving, Vardy the sole title winner left at the club.

In the article it says we are in talks with Ndidi

And we've gave Vesty a 3 year deal, which is going down well!

Definitely my second best all time favourite Leicester player after Vardy. I was hoping he’d stay with us as coach.

One of the few proper characters left in the game, at this level at least. Glad we get to see another year of him in the Greed League.

It’s reported that Solanke has this 65m release clause applicable to “select clubs”, something like Champions/Europa League or similar criteria.

I’m wondering if clubs of that pool might want to wait and see if he can repeat his past season or not.

For what it’s worth I think he’s approaching the top tier given how well rounded his game now is. Not world class at any one thing, but he’s competitive at absolutely everything.

If that's Solanke's price, I can't see us entertaining it. £65m is in the realm of price where you get eyebrows raised if you're spending that kind of money on a player who won't start every week and I can't see Solanke starting every week for us.

The £55m that Sesko may cost is in that realm too but his age allows us to mould him and slowly integrate him into how we play over the next 12 months. Solanke is 26. He'll want to play.

I don't think it'll be a smart allocation of funds. I do believe it's a squad game these days and you need options but we've got three players already capable of playing in that forward area in Havertz, Trossard and Jesus. Our links to Sesko and Zirkzee imply a desire to get a younger forward in to develop and avoid paying closer to a 9 figure sum for a striker in the future.

In fairness you might as well stuck with havertz than do that.

You'd want to at least get a "different" option to play with your side.

I can't see us buying anyone that falls into the category of 'can displace Havertz now'. Arteta loves him and he's flourished up front for us since playing there in a permanent capacity. In addition to that, I'm struggling to think of any potentially available player right now that falls into that category.
