no strong feelings other than Leeds getting knocked out in the initial games or at wembley via penalties

Given my dislike for Norwich, Leeds and Russell Martin, I'm backing West Brom.

I have a feeling they're going to win it as well.

lottery which is no small reason why I despise play-offs, wouldn't be so bad if the teams were all close in points but how often is it? also I gather it has been many a moon since a team got 90+ points and didn't go up automatically.

I'd prefer they played round robin and add the points to their existing points in a theoretical play-off table in which case be no point WBA and Norwich playing other than to give the sides in contention a decent chance - if just saints vs Leeds would need saints to win like 8-0 to oust Leeds on GD

on a not unrelated issue, slight tangent, disgraceful that Hull's manager should be sacked for not reaching the play-offs when they are hardly front-runners season in, season out, and is a marked improvement on 15th last season and 19th the season before

For the sake of my bet, c'mon Leeds! They get promoted, I win £200.

As a team who's finished 3rd twice in the last couple of years, i think the playoffs are great.

They make the league competitive all the way down to near where the relegation battle starts. For the majority of the season, almost every team is playing for something, and that makes it worthwhile, even if my club has personally lost out due to them.

I haven't got a clue what's going to happen, I think if Leeds turn like mid season then we won't stand a chance but hopefully they'll carry on their recent form.Whilst I don't think the league is particularly strong this season and we're not a patch on our recent promotion teams, 6th best is probably fair for us but going on recent form, anything is possible.

Looking at the teams coming down…

I really wouldn’t mind another season in this division.

Need a win today for us to stand any chance of progressing. Anything but a win and its Southamptons semi final to lose.

Good luck to everyone today, especially the travelling fans. The playoffs is a major part of what make this league so great.
The highs and lows of these games is what football is all about, although at my age I’m personally glad we’re not involved.

I’d say West Brom and Norwich are the teams that will see this as an added bonus to the season, I get the impression Leeds and Southampton will see it more of a necessity to get up.

Norwich Southampton final, with Southampton to win it..

I've voted for Leeds as I think they've more overall fire power & options although nobody arrives here ' on fire ' & I think Leeds would have been a bit gutted to have missed out on the autos hence their end of season slump but any of the 4 have a ginormous task staying up next season , good luck to supporters of all 4 teams on here .

Hoping for Southampton to get promoted even though I like west brom due to family ties. They’re local to me so may be able to catch a couple of games there next year. Got a family of big Pompey fans in my street as well. They’re twats and I can goad them about it, so another reason I hope Southampton go up.
