And more dropped points for Porto! Great to see Santa Clara hanging in there with Braga

    What a stupid league hahahaha

How many red cards was that in the last 30 seconds? 4? Might have been 5. Not sure.

2 months without a post? What's happening, Portugal homies?

Benfica 2-0 up at Porto at half-time. Very one-sided.

Porto are a shambles. Only one man can save them now...

This was an oddly easy win at Mordor

Such a strange, strange season with everything to play for tomorrow. Win and the league is effectively in the bag. There’s been important derbies in the last few years but this is the biggest for a while.

Gyo has continued to be his outrageously good self. But still can’t help but feel it’s been nothing more than stumbling over the line since Amorim left. Borges has ultimately done a decent job, but when the season started off with us looking ridiculously good and in clear contention for top 8 qualification in the champions league it just all feels a bit odd. JP’s short stint took so much wind out of the sails, big mistake from the board with that decision but at least they acted eventually. Knowing that we’re likely to see Gyo leaving too doesn’t help

I've just come back from Lisbon. They're constructing a large temporary structure at Marquês de Pombal. Could be a stage, could equally be a gallows...

I can't find a Lisbon derby with the emotional and historical weight like tomorrow's derby. I spent the whole week nervous

    To sum it up

In order to be a champion crowned tomorrow

Benfica has to win by more than 1 goal
    Sporting winning

If Benfica wins by 1 goal margin we only need a point at Braga to win the league

If a draw happens Sporting goes to the last matchday with advantage, and only needs to copy Benfica's result.

So I'd say Sporting can play with two results
Benfica needs absolutely for sure to win, a draw will most likely give Sporting the title.

    Final matchday is

    Braga x Benfica
    Sporting x Vitória SC

Yeah its the stage i know its for security, it became a controlled festival, but i miss the spontaneous title parties

I keep thinking back to the Kelvin goal, that's the last time one game has this much at stake.

I have to say though that there's a lot of disrespect shown towards Braga & Vitória here, neither of those last games are easy wins for Benfica or Sporting.

Unbelievable start. A long long 60 minutes to go  Atmosphere is absolutely electric

Rui Silva has been a tremendous signing

That second half was a tough watch. I’d have 100% taken a point before the game but I’m even happier with it now. We were dire second half which has been all too common under Borges. Defensively sound for sure, but I’m astonished Pavlidis hit the post when he looked certain to score.

Anyway it’s in our hands, big one next week

Thought the ref had a bit of a mare today but not quite as bad as I've seen some Benfiquistas make out.

Think Benfica have a really tough game next week, Sporting should be home and dry.

I thought he got a lot right, but with the sheer amount of fouls going off there’s going to be an increased amount of bad decisions. Nothing game changing for one though fortunately

I thought Hjulmund was a bit lucky to get away with what he did today tbh. As you say though, nothing massively game changing, just thought he was a bit naff.

Oh trust me we missed him, would’ve won the league weeks ago if he was in charge. That man is the reason that we’re here, everything he gave to the club still seeps through it and that’s why we are where are. This championship is his as much as anyone else’s

Next year is going to be a transitional season with Gyokeres likely leaving but potentially even more importantly Hjulmand going too.

The super bock I bought is now about to get demolished :D

    sorry @miguelpalma92
