Has anyone here purchased a projector before for their home? If so, do you have any tips for good manufacturers to look at? I am trying to avoid paying a huge amount for one, but that then limits the big electronics companies. Also have you had any issues with your projector such as picture quality, sound delay, over heating?

Are you talking about a simple overhead projector that plugs into a USB on a laptop or a full home entertainment projector that screws to the ceiling and projects onto a wall?

More of the latter but I am not going to put it on the ceiling. I ended up grabbing one from amazon which had good reviews. Just need to figure out where I am going to put it now.
