Oh dear who let the millenials out of the cage? Total rubbish no energy no chemistry , no stars . There is a reason the old format was so popular for so long. Another right load of cobblers.

I can't be doing with McGuinness, he's bearable on Top Gear but that's about it. I haven't watched it for donkey's years anyway.

Stopped watching this after Dettori left, can't stand Tuffnel and Dawson was boring.

Dawson loves himself and would f*ck himself if he could. ;)

Saw the new lineup I like Sam Quek but Paddy McGuiness does my head in won't be the same without Sue Barker sadly. In contrast the reboot of Never Mind The Buzzcocks looks really good though.

Yes - he hated losing and really got cross with guests if they dared to get a question wrong !

Friday seemed to be more of a chat a long interrupted by a few questions.

You will never get a better QoS captain than Emlyn Hughes was back in the day

I used to love the show until I found out it was scripted. I might give the new one a watch if the format is different.

Is Simon Amstell back? Because if he isn't then that show can **** off.

Nah the headteacher from the Inbetweeners is the new host. I'd love Amstell to come back he just didn't give a **** about offending the guests was hilarious..Noel Fielding is still a team captain always found him amusing.

Simon Amstell just does stand-up primarily now, which I have learnt is pretty shit after going to see him do a "warm-up" of new material only for him to still lean on material from old specials he had put out.

    Must have been hungover.

It’s still 4 guests ,2 captains and a host answering sports questions but it was more talking and less action.

Most of the rounds were the same but they had one where the captains did an outdoor challenge.

I know what you mean though about it being scripted - they actually get ages to answer the questions in reality and the answers are checked off by “experts”

Loved it when Emlyn Hughes and Billy Beaumont were on.

Not watched it in years and years.

Ally McCoist was pretty good. I think it's time the programme was canned though. I hate SKY's version even more.

I've always found question of sport painful viewing. Sports "personalities" trying to banter their way through a pub quiz was nauseating when Beaumont and Botham were at it. I'm quite confident it got steadily worse after that too...

It wasn't. They all pissed themselves at jokes that weren't even funny. In an age where you aren't allowed to brutally take the piss on TV, Buzzcocks was never going to work.
His last two seasons were the show at its best.

Maybe I'll give a later episode a go, didn't help that Nish Kumar was on there roaring with laughter at every unfunny little thing. Despise that pious little twat. Amstell or Lamarr would have had him storming off in tears.

Looks like it’s being scrapped due to dwindling ratings.

Not particularly surprising as think most people haven’t taken to the revamp .
