The thing about Maher is he's not the fastest centre half out there but he reads the game very well. I'd be surprised if he came back to us. But it couldn't hurt asking the question. I think his family still watch most of our home games.
Cian Harries, centre back, has left us today - I reckon he’ll stay at this level, probably somewhere like Yeovil. Definitely split opinion, very good on the ball & brilliant penalty taker, but a bit of a liability defensively and didn’t really suit our fast-paced attacking football as he likes to control and dictate from the back.

I’d take that Ollie banks in a heartbeat. Think he’s a brilliant midfielder. Was class when we used to play tranmere. Not that he’d come to us like but a great player imo
Our first departure is Luke Summerfield. Sad to see him go. He was an experienced head in an otherwise very young squad. I suspect we are going to get drip fed news as opposed to seeing an actual retained list.
Next batch to go. Tom Scott- sub keeper. Don't know why he stayed so long. Johnson will be number one for years to come Tom Wilson- Young centre back. I believe we had an option but he's neither played for us or been sent out on loan so I suspect he's pushed this one.. Rob Harker- there is a god. That's 1 of the horrific attack binned off. Hopefully Cooke and Cosgrave will follow him out of the door in the coming days.

We have this weird thing every off season of only announcing bits and bats at a time. The rumour I’ve heard is for clicks/views on articles, and to make it feel like we are busy. In reality, we all know we are a shambles off the field.
