    Why does Rafa keeping leaving him on the bench he is a quality player and should be playing?

    Maybe because he went into the Olympics straight after recovering from an injury playing for Holland, so maybe he need's time to recover?

    :clap::clap::clap:

    At fookin last, someone that see's things as I do.

    People are forgetting he had a bad injury and then spent a good month in China in the Olympics, even Mascerano looks jaded.

    I used to travel long distances on planes and i never felt right for weeks after. they have had to adjust to chinese time, play football and fly for about 16 hours going and coming back.- all in a month. i can't really blame rafa for not playing babel and if he wanted to other players in the olympics.

    Yes he does, he looks slightly tired. Not as bad as Babel though, but hey, Babel doesn't have the stamina for a full match when he's fully fit and rested. Mascherano is much tougher and can still give a decent shift even when knackered.

    Sitting on the bench in a team that doesn't play with wingers.

    If he came to Arsenal he'd be on our left side every week.

    To me thats being wasted because he's not playing as much as he should be

    Yeah, it's not like Robin Van Persie has ever been benched is it?

    Babel in fact started about 25/30 games for us last season, not bad for a young lad thats still finding his feet, is it?

    Yeah, still young.

    Most Liverpool fans will know (based on last season), that if you start with Babel you will get a good player for 60mins.

    If you bring him on at 30 mins or so to go...you get a world class player because the opposition is more tired and he can run then ragged.

    I was hoping he could shift that balance this year. But we will see.

    Babel has the ingreediants to be a special player, but as of yet can't put it all together. Maybe Rafa is playing mind games with in the hope when his chance comes and it will , he takes it with both hands.
