Not been a thread on this man (to my knowledge) so far. kane has hogged the headlines but this guy is superb for me. one of the success stories of the season. was loaned out numerous times and I think we'd all given up on him pretty much but he came back and SHAZAM -what an impact. pretty hard to believe he made his prem debut at 23. It fills me with immense joy and my penis with immense blood to see 4 Spurs players on the pitch (5 if rose hadn't been injured) for an England. I read a few match reports and they all said mason was "quiet". I thought he was pretty good personally. nothing Hollywood but very neat and tidy. there was a lovely little chipped pass he played in midfield and I thought to myself 'that's pretty audacious considering your 5 minutes into your debut'. and he got an assist aswell. surely must be one of the fastest assists for an England international in history. I have to be honest I thought he merited an England call-up & I hope he isn't overlooked in the future.
Massive fan of the guy, as I have well documented, have to admit, I'd never seen him play till the Forest game. Well done to the man.
Hats off to Spurs for producing some great English players. If other clubs hadn't spent so many hundreds of millions Spurs would be title challengers for sure.
Ryan Mason: Why I Have No Regrets After Gary Cahill Head Clash - YouTube Already had a lot of respect for Mason but he comes across particularly well in this podcast for anyone who wants a listen. I could listen to him all day
