Yeah despite the fact both Williams and Phillips performed heroically the season needed them, neither are anywhere near good enough to be getting games for us. Phillips as an absolute emergency. Williams, nah no thanks.
But instead of bringing him back off loan, like Leiva says why not use Gomez at CB, surely that makes more sense as those two are no where near the standard.

Gravenberch thankfully no muscle tear but the fact his problem is fatigue will need wrapping up in cotton wool, Bajcetic out until his body sorts itself out (growing issues) and young Doak now out for a while needing knee surgery.
There is another option, i was reading up on Sepp today, he starts regularly for Mainz has only missed one game through suspension, a few mom displays, got the equalizing goal against Dortmund last time out and he certainly has the ariel dominance required
Mac Allister could return for the Newcastle game and Robertson, Thiago and surprisingly Bajcetic all nearing a full return to action and could along with Robbo be available for Bournemouth away. Much needed added fuel for a genuine title tip
If those 4 are fit and ready to go I truly fancy us to push on in the new year. Thiago returning would be huge.
I know ,I thought this season we would just stay close to the top three waiting to pounce ,but now we're top I'm thinking just go for it balls out. I mean if we do win this we've done it the hard way as the PGMOL have done their level best to derail us from the get go. It really has been ridiculous ,four sending offs ,countless contentious decisions against us and our opponents seemingly afforded the opportunity to kick lumps out of our players with little or no censure. It's honestly been laughable how determined they seem to ensure we don't succeed this season. All the more reason to make sure this season we make a concerted effort to win the f*cking thing ?
Fabio Carvalho has retuned from his loan with RB Leipzig. Not sure where he goes from here tbh. Klopp clearly doesn't fancy him, need a decent loan to get a decent resale value out of him really. He's probably worth keeping around for January with Salah away. So if he is to go out on loan again, hopefully they delay it.
I think we will do well to get him moved on but getting him a game is not going to be easy. I don't know what his fitness levels or his attitude will be like.
I would have liked to him being around when Salah is away, but I don't think he will be in Klopps mind.
Agreed, just a body really Incase of emergency. Which is a shame because there is a decent player there.
