Any other year dropping down to L1 wouldn’t be so bad, it’s an occupational hazard that we blues fans crack on with, but it’ll be harder to take this year, what with all the optimism from the new owners and the huge plans they have for the club. That, along with the direction the season was heading all those months ago. Riding high in the playoffs and then making that utterly ludicrous decision to bring Rooney in.
